I couldn't make it to the top! :( I'm impressed you were able to add some of those dope details like the parallax and screenshake that make the game feel much better- this is high quality stuff!

Thanks @james-shipp! I definitely spent an inordinate amount of time on graphical "juice", unfortunately to the detriment of audio. Everything is a tradeoff in LD! 🙃

Nice, one of those games that you can spend a good time with, well done.

A+D+Spacebar was a real weird control scheme for me haha, seemed good on paper but I guess I'm really used to arrow keys + left hand for jumping in platformers, as a result I gave up about when I had to do a bunch of C jumps in a row. Loved the art!

Art is good, and I enjoyed playing it. Obviously sound would have been nice, but we dont have time for everything. Connection to the theme isnt clear though

Challenging and addictive gameplay. Nice touch with the particles under falling blocks.

The controls are not a good controls scheme, nice level design and it's really hard. but good game

Took me way too long to get to the first checkpoint than I would like to admit. Cool art

It's a shame there's no sound, because otherwise this would be a solid compo entry. A good pick for people who enjoy the Dwarf Fortress kind of challenge - because losing is fun!

Really nice pixel art and overall game feel :) ! Big well done ! The controls weren't that great for me though... I'm really not used to A + D to move, would of loved to be able to use the left and right arrow keys :)

Good game here, it looks simple but you can't go no-brain for the highest ground reachable, you have to think, and think fast.

Great, very nice simple pixel art with very responsive movement. Also very tense when the ground starts breaking.

I like that you chose to keep everything except the key elements black and white, it helps clarity for such a fast game. The difficulty is pretty harsh, I like it.

I suck at this type of game :-(((

Very polished entry, though it's really a standard mechanics one. Add some sound and a bit simpler start, and I could easily see this burning on phones.

I think this was a pretty good game, enough to get me into it and trying to land that next checkpoint. The physics of it seemed... heavy. That might have been on purpose though.

Great graphics, I missed the sounds though. The keybindings was a bit weird, should have added support for arrows as well. The acceleration in the movement made it so much harder, and it annoyed me a bit :P
