Thank you! Alright, feedback. My very first thought when I saw this game: "The elves quit, didn't they?" Good job on this entry! I love the art style, and the effect of the theme is very apparent, and very close to the effect on my game. I found it interesting seeing santa dancing on the title screen. Anyway, neat idea!

really nice game, I like the Christmas theme and the graphics are really cute, the game gets hard fairly fast and I got really hyped to not getting caught

Neat game, but I was confused how suspicion and suits interacted.

@jelch thanks for playing 😁 essentially, if you get over 100% suspicion all guards will chase you. If you get caught stealing by just one guard however, only that guard will chase you.

Great entry! I love the music - it's the perfect soundtrack for joyous holiday thievery. I couldn't figure out how to get my suspicion level to go down other than just waiting, so it got a little repetitive after a while - do dancing / flipping actually do anything? If I were a security guard, I'd definitely be less concerned about someone stealing stuff if they were doing cool moves in the aisles.

I enjoyed this game, but was there another way to reduce suspicion without just waiting? It seemed that after a certain point it just became a case of steal, wait, repeat

@jamioflan Original plan was to add things such as disguises and other mechanics to make the game more fun. But due to other commitments and time restraints we decided not to add them. This was our first time taking part in LD, so was more of just a learning experience for us. Looking forward to LD41 though to see how much we can improve! :D

it feels like there is just a little something missing from this game, I agree with @jamioflan that another way to avoid suspicion would be good and with that it might take this up a level

still over all it was fun and on theme and seasonal too!

Very funny idea! I like the mesh but don't understand what is the flip and dance for.

I enjoyed this, thought took a while to get the way to have fun! I was trying to stay under 100% suspicion to begin, but then saw thats boring and a waiting game considering there is so much loot to take. However, the approach of raiding everything and not getting yourself in a dead end and caught - was enjoyable.

Funny idea! I included it in my Ludum Dare 40 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s2AmCPVSXQ

Managed to steal quite a bit, tried to make a run for it in the end and ended up falling off the map :joy:
Nice game, really enjoyed it!
