Description

Trouble in the mine is 2D topdown game. The game is about evacuate the mine and you are a miner who tries to get out of the mine. But the main power-generators are offline and the air-fans that pulls air to the mine are starting to slowdown due to lack of power.

Wow, those are some really good graphics you got there!
The interface not so much.
Gampelay however is solid and efficient :)

Really good game.

What I liked:

The theme is well and innovative covered and implemented by the gameplay. I liked espeially the sound FX and the light dimishing. As always, a good sound leads to good atmoshphere.
Ended both, on easy and hard mode, from my feeling the hard mode could have been harder, but I think the balancing is quite good for the short time.

If I would search for potential to improve:

The light mechanic is a very good nice but should be more significant. The problem here is that the minimap is not affected. So you can do the game with constantly pressing Q.
I wasn´t able to find some enemys, just read it at the custom mode.

Overall, I had much fun with your entry, thanks a lot!

I realaly liked this game and it was fun:

What I Liked:

- Graphics
- Concept
- Difficulty Options
- SOund


What I Disliked:
- The Controller for the lamps and fan

Took a little while to understand what the fans were doing, but I like it! Agree with @gilborn that the minimap was a little too powerful; it was difficult to resist the temptation to keep it visible all the time.

Your take on the theme was very clever, and you managed to weave the mechanics in nicely.

It didn't feel like i was running out of power. :S I cranked the lights and fan to the max, and was always at max power. Other than that, it's a cool game!

Impressive for a compo, the graphics are good and so are the sounds. You got a nice concept and smooth mecanics and I like what you did with the theme! Maybe you should nerf the minimap it would make the exploration better in my opinion! Good job!

The sfx are very good in this game. As are the graphics are unique. I like the tradeoffs in this game, which help with your objectives.

Really liked the dynamic light stuff. Didn't understand what the fans were for. Didn't feel like I was running out of power at all, but I liked moving around in the world.
