I'm B'walkin' Here! by Ziamor

Controls:
Move around with WASD, press SPACE BAR to use your Bwuk attack to push pedestrians aside. Get to the other side before the timer runs out, which you can see by looking at the traffic lights.
About the Jam This was a fun challenge, we had so many ideas for different NPC types, but we ran out of time! On top of that we left level design for the last two hours of the jam which was a huge mistake, causing the game to be rather short, lesson learned haha. Each jam we participate I can feel significant improvement, hopefully next jam we will have a more fleshed out game!

I loled again when the idiot was intentionally blocking my way. So relatable irl. (How can stationary car kill me though! also I wish I could push those idiots into traffic)
The music is nice, it could perhaps have done with a few more sound effects, possibly footsteps, or some audio feedback to actions like pushing pedestrians away.
Other than that, really nice work!

The art was simply adorable and tune was bangin' but it could have used (even very simple) sound effects. The way you incorporated the timer to the actual game world was sweet. Always cool to see a hudless game with all the information needed still there. One thing that was missing though was the actual goal of the game. I only took a glimpse at the description and missed pretty much only saw the controls so obviously I failed at my first attempt (I thought the goal was to keep all the people from crossing the road). Maybe adding a simple arrow pointing to the right side of the screen on the first level would do the trick.
I think the hitboxes of everything were a bit high. For example, I should be able to move trough here already well before my head is lower than the post...

And by the way, why isn't it failing in the above gif. Everyone had already gone past. Is it enough to just get over the street in time? That makes it even easier than I thought.
Anyways, good job!
Overall you made a really nice game.
