Definitely my favorite game so far. Puzzles are quite challenging without using magic, very well done !

Wow! I have only given out 2 4.5s (and 0 5s) and this is one of them! Truly excellent! A really great little puzzle/tactical experience. My only wish was for better art. But it's totally serviceable. Great job :)

This was an interesting entry! I liked the little story it had! The puzzles were simple enough but they worked well! My biggest gripe is that having to redo the dialogue every time I lost a level was a little annoying since there was dialogue on a lot of the levels. The audio worked well be the setting and the little changes to riding hood's character s the game progresses was nice.

Overall I think this was a nice little puzzle game, more levels could be nice, but it also works well as a shorter more story driven experience!

Really well done puzzle game. Initially I didn't see any downsides to the "sacrifice" as they were just cosmetic, but at the end it all came together quite well! I played through both endings, and enjoyed the options you left open to the player.

Really great entry!

I tried really hard to get past the puzzles without sacrificing, but I failed! I'm sad, but I think that makes this a good game to make me go through such woes~

@wdelvi Glad you enjoyed it! I also wish for better art, but I am bad at it :(

@kantieno Thanks for the advice!

@ravarion You don't need to go through both endings this way, but it is a good challenge!

It's a nice take on an old tale! I liked that you could actually choose to make a sacrifice or not :)

I think the art and style is really nice for a compo game. It gives the game a very cute and relaxing feel. If you're interested in adding more polish, having the player and enemies actually move smoothly form square to square would be a nice touch. Some UI to indicate the status of each power would be nice as well, but these would be pretty hard in 48 hours. Awesome game!

@boundtotheearth Agree. Originally I wanted to do the moving animation, but it is hard to do it bug-free in short time. I also considered to make an indicator, but finally I thought it is not nessessary. Thanks for your comments!

Probably one of my favorite games that I have played so far. It is interesting and the music does a really good job setting the mood. Fantastic job!

What an adorable game! I love the two different strategies the player can use to approach this game and get two different endings, and I felt like it was the right amount of challenge in each level. Fits very well with the Sacrifice theme!

Had loads of fun playing this, got kinda hooked from the start, the simple graphics work very well, would have liked some more sound effects, but overall, well done!

@morriss oh thanks! This game is similar to my LD42 game (storytelling puzzles). Which one you like more?

A really good game with an amazing mood. One thing that bugged me was that you could not move backwards when you had the blue one after you maybe you could make them switch places when wanting to reverse. There could also have been some more sound effects but the music really worked well so I did not miss them too much.

All in all a really solid game!

Fun game. I did have to use that restart button a few times for getting stuck with no possible moves, but that's par for the course with a puzzle game. Music is good. Graphics are simple and make for a good aesthetic.

Might be handy if a controls reminder for the restart feature was included to pop up when no moves are available. I had to come back to this page to see if there was a restart key.

Good job on this one, was fun!

Really nice game!
It's really short though haha. Ended before i knew it.
One of the thing that's a bit annoying is the dialogue. When you keep repeating a single level, having to talk to the witch over and over is kinda annoying. Maybe if you polish this game more, make it so that the witch is an entire new level? Just a thought.

@vija02 Thanks for your advice. Originally I thought it was not that useful so I did not make this feature. I could make it longer if more time given, but the levels were hard to design
