Really cool! Great idea to use checkpoints - I died a ton! I got pretty far (I think) before the controls stopped working (I couldn't do anything after death). Good graphics and audio. And very fun to play!

A great Little game, controls drop out here and there but I just restart and enjoy it again and again!

The game is really cute made. When the slime is the smallest, the sounds are dangerous cute. Good Work!

Fun game! I agree with the comments saying you want to try and retry until you make it!

Controls disappear after a while making it hard to continue where you were at. The jumps were hard to master, for me atleast. :-) Would like to have seen more puzzle challenge with the goo, it was basically just to follow the level to get where you were going. So not much strategy there.

Really liked this submission! The gameplay felt fresh and unique, with only being able to manipulate the slime by flinging it around. Graphics and audio also reminded me of an old PlayStation game, which is awesome.

My only complaint is that the use of theme was a little light, but the overall aesthetic makes up for it. Could've also benefited from a pause or menu option.

Finally, I encountered a bug where after you die, you might respawn without being able to fling the slime anymore, so the game had to be restarted. Overall, great work!

I really liked the look and feel. Took me a couple of tries to get the feel for slime getting smaller. Good job!

I found it to be very difficult and the sling shot thing pretty inconsistent. Nice job on the visuals, though!

I really liked the flinging mechanic! It was fun stopping in mid-air to fling the slime again and pass through the obstacles. The flinging controls sometimes didn't respond, though.

The graphics look quite nice and the gameplay is very streamlined. A really fun concept. Sadly i had two control lockups and only restarting the game could fix those. However those are just minor issues :D

The idea is interesting and the music fits well the ambiance. It lacks a bit of feedback regarding how far the blob will land but then i discovered I could jump in middle air and it made things so much easier ! (iI also had a weird bug : after several death I couldn't clic on the blob, i had to reload the game) Good job !

Really like the mechanic here, it's super effective and fun to use. To combination of timing and trajectory planning felt freeing to play. Only gripes are I couldn't see far enough ahead of me to plan effectively, and it's hard to tell how many 'jumps' I have left before I'll expire. Personifying the slime more might help here, using expressions rather than just the size to visualise 'health'.

We are really glad that you are enjoying the game. I'll be sure to fix the "die-and-no-more-moves" bug, it's a bug that is simple to fix and that is very frustrating, blocking the game progress. Thank you all for the feedbacks <3

Very cool game! I'm super bad so I didn't go far but the game looks great, I loved the association of Pixel art and 3D, the mechanics feel good too, gg!

Really fun take on the theme, Ori/Angry Birds like flinging and platforming. It all comes with focused level design, nice graphics, and a great soundtrack !

Pros :
- Nice 2D graphics, enjoyable soundtrack
- Great concept combining both the theme and a really fun mechanic
- Level design allows for some challenge while remaining fair

Cons :
- Controls a little wonky on the WebGL version

All in all, great job !

Really nice graphics and sounds! The level design is also great with good difficulty progression. The game has a simple but fun mechanic. I feel that this game could be a really fun mobile game if you decided to continue working on it. One bug i encountered was I could not move anymore after dieing later in the level(i was playing the html version on chrome). Other than that, really fun to play!

Awesome entry!!!

I really liked the idea of launching the slime while loosing mass. I share the opinion of the others, I caught myself trying over and over again after losing.
The musics and SFX are great, and the art too! I liked the theme's visual, with the slime and the dungeon.
It was an excellent idea putting a checkpoint. It helps a lot the game to be not too punishable.

The mechanics are good. But I had a lot of trouble calculating the power to throw the slime. The difference between maximum and medium power could be more proportional.

After throwing the slime, there is a bug that allows you to throw it again in mid-air. When doing this, it's not possible to launch the slime again after respawning. I played the Windows version.

In overall, it's a very cool game!! I had a lot of fun with it! Congratulations to all the team for the entry!!

Nice idea. Sadly from time to time (in WebGL) when I died sometimes my controls didn't work, so I had to reload the page and start from the beginning. As it was, I wasn't motivated enough to get very far. Otherwise cool concept and nice graphics.

This is fantastic! The music really sold the idea of a heroic slime adventure. The sound effects were cute and gave me a real attachment to what was effectively a blob with a crown. The graphics and overall aesthetic gave me early Crash Bandicoot vibes, which I loved.

Perhaps this was just me, but it took me a while to work out that I didn't need to be on the ground to fling myself, and then it took me even longer to work out that I was actually sticking to the background wall; before that, I thought I'd hit a bug every time it didn't let me do it.

I found the slime blobs a little finicky to pick up sometimes, so I would have liked the hitboxes on those to be a little more generous. I also felt that a maximum fling could have done with a little more power, but perhaps that would have thrown the balance of the game off.

I was a little disappointed when all I found at the end was endless black screen. I started trying to work my way backwards through the stage until I hit the control bug others have mentioned and decided to quit.

Overall my criticisms are mostly nitpicking; I absolutely adored this game! Everyone on the team should be very proud!

Once I got into the groove of your mechanic, I REALLY got into it! The mood you were able to pull off is good. The only issue I ran into was collecting the Green Slime when I was a tiny iddy bitty slime. But back to the mechanic, I see a lot of potential with this! Keep up the great work :D
