Overall great game. I love the intro screens. The music is a bit loud however, and I couldn't find a way to turn it down except for turning down my system's audio. It's definitely a challenge to collect all the fragments, I didn't manage to get them all.

Great stuff. Theme, innovation, and graphics are five stars each. Honestly, the only bummer in this one is the audio. More sound effects would have been nice. The music I found to be really annoying tbh, and not all that fitting to to 90's theme (as in old Windows). Had to play it with my audio muted.

Like Luke I also didn't get to manage all the fragments. I guess some of them need a bit of fine-tuning (like the one where you have to beat the mine in a race). But still a great game.

I must say, many games for this jam have some version of "the void", but this one is by far the best!

When I heard this game was in the pipeline I knew the final product would be piping hot. Pipe down, dissenters - you may think the premise is just a pipe dream but let me tell you it's as blissful as smoking a peace pipe. 5 Gs

Really impressed by the graphics and the overall mood. However, the camera made me feel dizzy and I couldn't play for too long!

I liked the game but it's really hard to control with the physic. The fact that you bounce a lot on spikes trapes you in an endless loop of taking damages which ultimately kills you. Loved the effort going through the artstyle. Keep it up.

Love the art style and music ! The mood is also perfect, pressurizing you, the small defrag spaceship to plow through this computer that probably hasn't seen only cute gifs.

I had quite a blast playing this game, and found a dear foe along the way. :paperclip:

Only negative points are the camera which made me feel dizzy, and the ship that does turn way too fast for me when accelerating.

Overall, awesome game !

Great game! I really liked the graphics, especially the 'Windows' effect. An overview would a good addition, to see which sections you have completed and if you have finished the game.

The effects here are incredible! The whole look of it was very put together. Controls were pretty frustrating, particularly when you're just trying to get to the other side of the map.

Wow. The graphics looks super slick, although when I got blasted out into Nothingbutmotiontrails Land, I was a little overwhelmed. My personal preference would be for the WASD to control my motion directly. It was counterintuitive for me to use W for forward when I actually wanted to go south/down. I like @shujal's suggestion of an overview or map, which I supposed is not in keeping with the defrag theme. I scored 5 on theme for being on point without being literal about the walls closing in or whatever.

The visual design was incredibly well done! I especially liked how the void looked - very trippy. However, I felt the physics were a big turn-off for me, especially how you don't keep your orientation when colliding with the walls. It made correcting my course a lot more difficult since I couldn't really plan for which way I would be facing.

Finally, with all the throwbacks to 90's PCs, how could you leave out a killer MIDI soundtrack?

Man, to me it's actually the best game of the Jam. Do a complete version, release on steam, success guaranteed lol

PS: A8N-SLI with an AMD 4000+, remind me my first config it was a M2N-SLI DELUXE with a 4200+ and a 8800GTS :D
Quite a good config for running win98 lol

This game was a trip! I liked it a lot, but I'm pretty sure you don't have the rights to all the graphics in this game. Don't worry, I won't tell :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
It took me a while to figure out that you can push the blocks under the crossed out rectangles. I know it's basically the first thing you do, but Instead I bumped into the "door" block and thought "oh i can't go there i guess" flew around in a circle and then tried again and without knowing why I was able to continue... I found out half way through finding all the fragments (defragments?) and then i was able to complete the game.
Not sure if it was timed or just a win/don't win thing.
Anyway, it was fun!

Wow that is beautiful ! I really enjoyed the graphics, also the music is nice !
But that's too the controls are kind of hard to get along with. It's maybe too slow ?
Also, maybe there's some troubles in the game design, I ended up in arrows that made me die, and then I took another path that made the game completly glitch. I'm pretty sure this was made on purpose, but you should give some key to let the player restart when it happens.
Anyway, this is was really good !

The graphics and effects are TERRIFIC ! love the intro with the defrag shortcut changing into a ship, a bit bothered by the controls, but guess its part of the gameplay, really good work !

This is great! A cool throwback, and an innovative concept. I felt like some of the arrows that send you into spikes were a little cheap but maybe I just need to git gud

Amazing effort for one weekend, the graphics and intro are perfect. I also thought some of the spike + arrow combos were unfair, but nothing that can't be fixed.

great job, perhaps a little overboard with the screen tearing effect.

if u make a fullversion i would love to see 2 player (local) multiplayer where players can open doors or defuse traps for each other.

great entry !

Awesome idea and atmosphere through the game. I really loved tha idea and atmosphere around this, introduction and the visual design nicely fitting the game with glitchs and raw icons and gifs. effects are looking good too, such as controls but I had some slowdowns that comes from the html export. Good job anyway ! Cheers !
