Great and consistent style. LOVE the music ramping up as the game ramps up in difficulty. The dash feels like it dashes a bit too far, I felt like I wanted to dash exactly to where the mouse cursor is. Mechanics are solid overall, but the movement is perhaps even a bit too tight? Did you experiment with some momentum on the player so you don't stop instantly?

@jtrink we thought snappier movement would work better then slippery momentum, mainly because it'd be a lot easier to accidentally move out of your circles

First thing to address: If you have a screen refresh rate higher than normal, play it on WINDOWED, not FULLSCREEN! The game relies on framerate, not on standardized time, which means that at 144hz refresh rate (As is my monitor), the game is almost unplayably hard. Aside from the major issue, I absolutely LOVE your graphics and audio! They fit the game so well! I also love the fast-paced action of the game. It's really fun, and the challenge is a fun part of it! As a little side-note, the insanely fast version of the game actually works REALLY well if you remove the lasers, which pretty much one-shot you before you can get rid of them. Maybe consider speeding up the game WAY too fast and make it part if the fun! Overall, really great job! Let's see it even faster!

Cheers!

This is awesome, loved the music , art style and especially the way you incorporated the theme! The mechanic of the explosions giving you more space also makes your shots feel powerful! Great job!

Great idea and execution! My only problem was with the camera shake ... there was just way too much of it xD

Liked the vector style! The camera shake did feel a tad excessive and sometimes it was hard for me to tell whether the enemies were actually hurting you until it was too late, but that didn't detract too much from the solid gameplay! The explosion circles is a really clever mechanic and I feel like a full game could totally capitalize on that and do some neat stuff with it!

This is AWESOME, techno beat downs and neon lights around man this game got some REAL potential. But some iddy biggy tiddy problems I had was that the controls were real sensitive, meaning I had a lot of trouble tryin to pick up the power ups, but other then that, this awesome.

Great game! I really like the VFX and the visuals. The art style made everything feel surprisingly polished for a Ludum Dare game. I also really like the overall concept: It fits the theme perfectly, and it was surprisingly deep (a few different types of enemies and different power ups added to the experience). Awesome job!
