This looks super good for a first run! Really like the concept of a sumo ring and bashing your opponents out of it. You are right that it's thin on the theme but I think a way to look at it is this: the theme may help bring someone without an idea some inspiration, those with an idea already might just feel constrained by it. In other words, use the theme if it works for you, if it doesn't work for you then dump it, it's trash :) Great job! See you at the next jam :)","likes":2,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Felegz","author_uid":"1007590","time":"2017-12-12T09:35:35Z","epoch":1513071335,"modified":1513071335,"text":"Thanks for your feedback! I totally agree with using theme as idea starting point and then probably leaving it. I'm definitely joining next jam.","likes":0,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"TwoTwentyFour","author_uid":"1061209","time":"2017-12-12T20:31:47Z","epoch":1513110707,"modified":1513110707,"text":"It wasn't a bad game. I think it's strongest soot is having to maintain positional awareness when shooting the enemies. I got caught several times surrounded and in a corner. I'm not sure if there was something wrong with my system but I didn't hear any sound. Maybe it was supposed to be this way. \n\nAll in all it was a great entry and I'm sure it was a fantastic way to learn p5js.\n\nGood job.","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"theloneplant","author_uid":"1061521","time":"2017-12-13T06:10:37Z","epoch":1513145437,"modified":1513145437,"text":"While it doesn't adhere super closely to the theme or have nice graphics\/sounds, it feels quite good to actually play, and that's really all that matters in the end. Nintendo's design philosophy is to design gameplay first, and they start with gameplay prototypes not unlike this. The game doesn't get models, music, etc. until the gameplay can stand by itself. I think you've made a great prototype, and with practice you'll be able to prototype faster and faster, which will give you more time on the little things. Great work, keep it up!","likes":1,"format":"md"},{"author_name":"Felegz","author_uid":"1007590","time":"2017-12-14T16:02:18Z","epoch":1513267338,"modified":1513267338,"text":"@twotwentyfour Thanks for your feedback!
