At first I thought to just have 3 more lives than the levels, so that you would have 3 tries and wrap levels for people who did not get hit. But then I decided that the main point of the game is how pointless the rewards are and how we fixate on getting scores\/things (in this case more like words :P). So I just left the issue as it is since it kinda also gives a feeling of helplessness.
