This is our game for the Ludum Dare 42: Tower of fated shoulders destined for survival from the Pouch destroyer rainbow road of doom with leeches (The title bar was too short so we only were able to put the abbreviation :/)
So you have to run to avoid being eatten by the "end of space" while saving others survivors, but you can't save everyone.
You can control your character with the arrows or WASD and throw people away with the numeric keys. You can also reset the game with 'R' or 'F5'.
If you experiance every lag, please check that you're not doing a share screen or try playing in another navigator, yes, it was weird for us too.
We noticed some small bugs a bit too late so there might be some weird things while you play but overall we are pretty proud of our game.
We hope you will have fun playing the game, please put your bests scores in the comments :).

It took me a while to figure out that I was supposed to picking up the clones rather than avoiding them. It's good fun, and the graphics are great. I'm not sure if the score going negative is a bug or a feature, but I like that you're fighting to collect points as they're stripped away from you.
You should look into adding sound next time: even really simple sound effects from something like [sfxr](http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html) would make this feel much more like a complete game.
@pennycook The negative score was indeed intended, it's to encourage to fight the boss and not just run away.
For the sounds effect, well, none of us didn't really know how to do something, but I'll keep your link in mind for next time :)
@jdhollen It's indeed a good score :) I think our best scores were around 1300/1400
Sound would be nice, but even more so it'd be nice to have some clearer indication when we lose a heart. As it stands, I was initially confused as to why sometimes holes killed me, and sometimes they didn't.
Edited to add: I might make the jumps less high, too.
Looks and plays pretty good.
Some frenzy music and sound effects would probably improve it.
Also maybe some particle effects/animations to show that the holes hurt you.
Overall pretty good. Great job.
@panda For the numbers, you need to press 1 to throw away the first people on your shoulders, 2 for the second, etc...
And well, you can in fact also use the number that are on the top of your keyboard and not only the numerical keypad (or if you look closely there is a cross on the panel of the character when you take it, you can also click on it).
For the jumps, we thought we would let it like that because (except if you have Rikka on you) you have no air control so jumping also represent an additional risk.
And well, to answer your last point and @appix 's one, it's true that we don't have enough visual feedback when taking damage, but this is something we will pay more attention for our next gamejam :)
@mr-madcat The lack of music is mainly because we didn't know how to add some with no knowledge on this subject, but thanks to pennycook we will try to use sfxr next time :)
We wanted to add more particule effect and animations (especially when a character launch his/her special attack) but we didn't have enough time for that
I've got to admit that I don't get the humor at all, but that might just be me.
Graphics are... well it's programmer art but I can feel that an effort was made.
I don't understand what dropping people on the monster is supposed to do? Some visual and audio feedback would be great to help make the game more understandble, the private jokes tend to create too much noise unfortunately.
@my-sweet-whomp When you take people on your shoulders, you become slower because of their weight, so you can throw them away and be faster.
We wanted to add more visual feedbacks too but sadly we ran out of time
Also some sound would have been great, really missing out there
Try our game too, maybe you'll like it)
Until I solve the problem the game will be temporarily available here: https://files.zirk.eu/ToFSDfSftPDRRoDwL/ToFSDfSftPDRRoDwL.html
