One thing I found a tad annoying was my inability to jump, as in games I tend to jump around a lot. A small thing, but just something that stuck out to me.
All in all, good job!
good job!
I like the voice acting "Get away !" ^^
10/10 great game
I don't even know how to give feedback on this but if anything: baby grenades spawn far too slowly, most of the time I had one grenade on the other side of the map which means luck plays a big part after the first ones have been used which means instant death. Great job but wow am I confused..
Not really my sense of humor, but I can appreciate the voxel graphics here. I kept dying super-fast, though, perhaps a little generosity with the collisions of the enemies (or even some kind of life bar).
I love the retro-synthwave music!
I liked throwing the babs to get the girls off you, but i felt like they were much too fast overall and the baby grenades took too long to respawn after picking them up. Would've been useful to be able to accumulate a stockpile of them ahead of time.
The stage design also left a lot to be desired, needed some obstacles, ramps, or pits to have the enemies fall into to give you more time. Overall, a decent entry!
Also, it's damn hard to survive past 30 seconds.
Great job guys!
Otherwise a fun game.
I played a handful of times, and my best time was 32 seconds. I like brutal short runs on a beat-your-time game like this, cuz I'm not about to restart when my best time is 6 minutes, as that means about 5:30 of boredom guaranteed. Not so in Baby Grenade! It gets right the fuck down to business.
I appreciated the tight tight controls. I wished for a jump feature, or at least that what I conclude from the way my thumb kept hitting the space bar.
What I think I really wanted was for this game to be in third-person view instead of first. First is great for aimin' and shootin' but third is superior for that immediate-proximity situational awareness, which would be key in surviving longer in this game. I mean I lasted just fine when I could distract the horde with babies, but after that? I was doomed quickly.
But I'm not sure effective dodging of these ladies was what you had in mind...
Nice work.
This game is very funny!!! :joy:

- Who can resist a game with a [throw baby](http://i.imgur.com/Jsrwa.gif) command?
- Your "how to win" description is gold.
- The music is the most polished I've heard in an entry yet!
- I agree with @pkenney that third-person would probably be better so you can see all around you. I do like how the spawn points are visible objects, though. That at least gives you some sense of where they'll be coming from.
It's a very simple game but I think it could be better if there were other ways to strategically avoid the girls. Right now it's very simple as you just need to run away in any direction away from them. But you could maybe add some low-lying obstacles like short walls to maybe trick the girls into a trap or simply to avoid them, rather than just having an open arena where there isn't much options aside from trying to get the next grenade to throw and running randomly. With Unity's built-in NavMesh system it isn't too difficult to set up pathfinding AI as well.
Have you also tried experimenting with a third person perspective? This might be an interesting idea since it feels unfair to have an enemy sneak up behind you and causing a loss, as is what happened to a player above.
Nevertheless, interesting idea and keep making games :)
