Cybird by AsSoonAsImpossible
Flat Earth Society manipulates humans to believe that Earth is flat. Only few individuals such as Major Orbit are brave enough to tell the truth: Earth is half round.
With latest Cybird collect files, which prove Major Orbit's thesis. Beware, every new file increases your speed! Use Brake to temporarily make your vehicle more maneuverable. Have fun!
Disclaimer: Character present in the game whose voice is used is Major Suchodolski, who is kind of a Polish meme, so if you don't understand him, don't worry, just ignore this part of the game!

The idea is cool, the graphics are nice too. The thing that bugged me were the controls. They are really weird, and it's actually hard to get to the stuff that you need to collect even on before the first one.
However the game is very hard because files are not big enough and the bird is hard to correctly handle.
Imo the voice is not very useful and break the cyberpunk ambiance.
I'm really interested to know how did you do make this style (did you make a shader ?)
@sunnray soon we`ll publish post-jam version with some changes in steering so it is a little bit easier, but still we want the game to be challanging. (don't forget about "brake". you can activate it when you are close to the flie. its crucial for later stages of game when youre superfast)
The controls are kinda weird.
The intro is nice.
Cheers. (Morco)
Thank you all for your feedback!
We tried with controls to imitate the behaviour of airplane, which is: Cybird's yaw angular speed depends only on its roll angle (not on how long you keep A or D key pressed). In other words, by pressing A or D you only change the roll angle, not the yaw angle. However, probably everyone would expect more arcade controls from our game, which could be a source of problem.
Cheers!
Like others have said, the controls are a bit weird, but I see you already answered about that problem and I understand your point of view. I just wish I could do a back or front flip, but it only goes up or down 90 degrees.
I also found it a bit hard to understand if I was going to catch the files, sometimes I thought I was going to catch it but didn't, but maybe it's just lack of skill. Also, losing with 1 touch is a but frustrating, but if you're aiming for a challenging game then that's ok :)
Overall I enjoyed your game, and I hope to see future improvements. Congratulations!
