Cool Idea! I love how it's reminds me of Tron! The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is pretty solid. The only slightly frustrating part was the fact that I could turn while still in the air. (This lead me to a few deaths lol) besides that it's really cool!

Pretty fun to play. Challenging part for me is the jumping!

I like this! The gameplay is fun and challenging (and very theme-appropriate!)

I like the graphical style as well. I don't know much about pico-8 but I really like the 3D effect on the title screen. :)

I really like the graphics and sound for this one. The font is pretty hard to read, it took me a long time to figure out how to start the game.

This is awesome! Really neat graphics and I love the ability to jump, I also like that I can take my time more as opposed to other Tron style games like this and plan out my moves to wipe everyone out.

Nice game! I love the title screen (beautiful 3d effect) and the general idea. Adding a "jump" mechanic to the classic "tron cycles" game makes it way more interesting and challenging.

Regarding jump, maybe it could be nice to be able to modify the jump length by holding down the button more or less longer - some times, to crush a worm, it's better to use a very short jump, while other time, it could be useful to do a very long jump to avoid 3 rows of your tail.

You should definitively pursue developing it, and add a soundtrack :).

I agree with much of the feedback here: the addition of jumping to the light cycle mechanics is a great gameplay diversifier! The sounds were also pleasing, and the art style was clean and consistent. Great entry.

Awesome game! Somehow the jumping made me play it in a more risky way than normal Tron kind of games.

Nice art! I loved the 3D jump with the cycle zoom.
also please, this game deserves a soundtrack!
Solid entry, good work.
Have a nice day!

Nice game, although the z-key is always tricky on different keyboard layouts. :(

I used to play tons of a tron light-cycle game as a kid and muscle memory immediately kicked in and made it hard to get used to up,down, left, right being the controls instead of just left, right to turn.

Nice aesthetic and sound!

Good old snake, always works and fits the theme perfectly, very solidly made. Graphics are perfect in creating that 8bit mood. And PICO-8  .

Solid. Attention to detail, like special sound when you jump straight on the worm, and your design approach, thanks to which whole game feels finished, shine here.

I absolutely love how retro it feels! The difficulty is just right, I gave up after failing level 5 a couple of times haha. Kept me hooked for a long time. Awesome job!

Really cool! It took me a second to get what's going on and the jumping was a bit difficult to get a handle on, but otherwise really fun and stylish!

I loved the Tron style here added with the jumping! Graphics were simple yet effective, I found it really clear on what I had to do. The difficulty was hard but fair and the sounds fit the game well. You have taken this theme and played on it well, Great job.

It took me a few attempts to get the idea ; but it's a good one!
It's clean and simple, with just enough sound effects.
A more varied arena layout would have been nice!

Very much getting Slither.io vibes off of this. However this one seems so have a lot more charm to it. The Jump mechanic is well thought out and executed and I like the fact that the AI is superhuman and can somehow weasle it's way out of any tight situations, makes the game a lot more enjoyable and fair. I don't think much more needs to be said, maybe some music and then this game would be even better than it already is.

Took a while to realise there was a jump button! Once I had it figured out though it was a fun game! Challenging level progression and a nice smooth experience. Love a good Pico8 game! Well done!

Great job. I had a bit of a hard time timing my jumps out, but being able to turn midair definitely helped.

It plays very well and it was one of the games I had the most fun playing ! Plus, it made me curious about discovering what the pico 8 was. Keep up the good work !

That was great! Loved the art style and music. Mixing mechanics of light cycles with jumping was really nice. It was very difficult to make the jumps until I realized you can change direction midair to control your distance more effectively. So well executed and polished, loved it!

Great twist on Tron/Zatacka/Snake. The only thing I did not like was the explanation given by "jumping on data" - as there were many things which could have been denoted data. But once I got that I loved jumping around and trapping enemies.

Very clean game design.

Cool art style, reminds me of the light cycle game in tron. I understand what you meant about my entry now, your graphics are more balanced and the UI is the perfect size. Nice entry.

Hard to believe this is a compo. Audio, art and mood were on point. Grid movement was also great.

Nice graphics, I love the sound effects, and the gameplay is fun! Excellent job! I loved the little animation at the start. The explanation wasn't super clear, though. What can I jump on? As far as I could tell, I had to trap the worm things.

Amazing job. I love the music!. Your game is orignal, and The topic is well used. Well done!
Perhaps it will be nice if the camera portraits more the scene.

I would describe this as competative snake, because on the one hand you have snake mechanics of your own to deal with (worrying about hitting your own trail) but you're also using your trail to trap the worms who also have snake mechanics. It's a neat idea. The aesthetic was nice and clean and I could see this working if more content was added to it. Perhaps zoom out the view though, so it's easier to judge the worms' movements (if I recall the original snake was all on one screen and I think there's a reason for that). Overall, solid work!

Really cool little game with a lot of polish which isn't always the case for pico-8 microgames.
It was just challenging enough, and the jumping mechanic is a lifesaver (perhaps a tiny bit too useful?).
The only issue I had was the way the movement was handled (velocity-based visuals not faithfully giving out the timing at which the player changed tiles) with the movement speed being too fast, making worms really easy to deal with and provoking some moments where I felt I hadn't yet hit a wall on death.

### FUCK.
I loved the audio and the visuals/gameplay were pretty damn crisp too. The crashing sound was a little abrasive, but didn't take away too much. It was hard for me to play too much but it was a simple idea implemented really beautifully. Greatjob

Pretty great! I got a score of 1160, made it to level 7, had fun =). I often pressed the buttons to turn too late, maybe a bit more feedback on which tile I was on/would turn to would be nice.

Great job! The game is pretty solid and works very well, while is innovative. The only problem was the enemies who, in higher levels, easily kill themselves.

My high score was level 15 with 2998 points.
