Nice art work, you could display the commands by default when starting the game to facilitate the onboarding of new players. Congratz for your entry :thumbsup:

@nidup Haha yeah, I considered it but I wanted the first encounter to be kind of a surprise (subverting normal visual novel style stuff where it's just entirely advancing the text with no other user commands). I feel like if the player is warned it loses a little bit of impact. It's a difficult balancing act though, thank you for your feedback!

The cutest thing I've ever played. Well, honestly, I didn't play many cute things before, I guess the number is less than 5, but this one is definitely the cutest. =)

After I figured out you could duck, I ended up just repeatedly ducking the whole game. Made the final scene less romantic though--I dodged her affection. A tiny quality improvement would be to have the words that are longer than the end of the textbox to never start typing on that line, but then next instead.

Her talking about being sleepy while I made her duck and jump all around was funny.
Doing a jump duck will sometimes make her constantly move up before snapping back down for the rest of the scene.
Being able to dodge the heart at the end was a nice touch.

This was super cute! This game definitely won me over with its charm. Its a minor thing, but I dug that you can dodge/jump at any time. It made the whole VN aspect of the game feel more dynamic. Great entry!

Interesting idea. I guess the jump was for the final scene? However, by that point I had been trained to duck, so that is what I did, and it didn't seem to matter. Nice little story, great art and dialogue.

I love this idea and the writing was nice, pretty funny. But some of the things you have to dodge come too surprisingly. Still liked it though!

lol, I did not notice the help button at first, I did not expect to find the controls there, but found out through a video someone posted.

The cheesy pick up lines were a bit funny and the graphics so cute. The gameplay was kinda unexpected but decent. It would have been nice if there was more to it, but that is just me wanting more out of this game cause I liked it. The name is quite fitting for the gameplay. I have definitely never seen an Dating Sim/VN with such a type of interactive feature, quite unique.

The ducked sprite is really cute :D Makes me wanna duck all throughout the game. I didn't quite get what's the jump button for. I think the controls could've been shown in the retry screen so it's easier to pick up.
