* Game *

In Island Populating Simulator you must stop Brad from going insane. How is he going insane you ask? Well, Brad does not like people!

Brad lives on an uninhabited island to escape society. However this island mysteriously attracts construction workers. (Keep this a secret, but the island is extremely flat!)

To stop Brad from going insane you must shove the construction workers off the island, and avoid touching buildings. Try to get the highest score possible!

* Playing *

Move with the WASD keys and keep an eye on your insanity meter!

* Notes *

This was my first Ludum Dare and that combined with the fact that I experimented using a new framework (one I made myself); it resulted in a buggy but playable game.

I also had no time to add sounds to the game, I focussed on more important aspects.

I still hope the game is fun to play and would love to hear your comments :)

Pretty funny idea. A better collision mechanics would help a lot.

Really enjoyed the dialog. Gameplay wasn't too challenging, could be ramped up in difficulty over time. Saw a construction worker sail past the island at one point, guess he didn't want to get shoved into the water!

Nice concept! The story behind the game is great! Had fun playing.
I like the fact that the insanity meter is increasing when you are near a building but the game is a little bit to easy in my opinion. More variety in enemies would be nice and maybe one extra mechanic, like shoving or smashing enemies or something. ^^
But even without that, nice entry!
