made by Alex_LemminG for LD 42 (COMPO)

More blocks you make, less space you have!

Try to hold on as much as possible in this minimalistic game. Don't hit the walls and don't create too many blocks. It becomes pretty INTENSE after a few seconds! Peek 2018-08-11 08-15.gif

Hold left mouse button to charge earn points.

Release to create new block.

More blocks = bigger points multiplier

Wow, I'm amazed you were able to come up with such an interesting concept and execute it in such a short amount of time.

If there's any criticism, blocks can get stuck bouncing back and forth in straight lines which kinda rewards you for being patient with also having the benefit of a huge multiplier.

This game is quite fun. I was able to get over 1500 points... thought it took me a good while to get past 5 or 6 blocks. Well done on a quick clean execution of this idea!

This game was really fun and the simplistic art style fits really well but if you were planning to work on it more then you might want to make the cool down for adding a block less or get rid of it so it is more of a challenge

Really simple mechanic but turns out to be very fun to play.

Also the graphic is simple and clean, the animation (the boundary blinks when you are ready to deploy the block) is quite nice.

wow, this game is surprisingly addictive! I can't believe how fun a concept as simple as this could be. There really doesn't need to be anything added or removed from this, it feels pretty solid on its own. maybe some sound effects, but that's about it. nice job!!

I found some pretty helpful techniques while playing, here's my high score:

I got 2411.5
It seems that 230 000 is quite hard.

Deceptively fun haha. I can see this really "working" as a mobile or web commercial game with a lick of paint.

What a great game! A simple mechanic but difficult to master. Adding some audio would really make this shine.

I scored 1724.6. My strategy was creating squares just in the corner. Very addictive game! Nice work

Great game. I was surprised how much fun I had with this one. Spent a while trying to figure out the optimal number of blocks to spawn. Then I see these screenshots that put my score to shame :)

Simple graphics and gameplay but very nicely executed to fit into the theme, well done! Great game mechanics too. Can see myself playing this for a while and trying to beat my previous score! the only thing missing is some music to keep me going :)
