Well this was a run i had a lot fun doing this but man it was very stressful but now i know what to expect. Well this is my game i didn't have enough time to polish but i am happy with well here is description.

You are a space agency on this planet and have to safe it from the incoming asteroids you research and launch rockets with scientist or nukes with astronauts.

Controls:

Left Click: Send Nuke

Right Click: Send Rocket to change asteroid trajectory

Nukes: are slower but destroy asteroid

Rockets: are faster but only change the trajectory of asteroid

W/Up: To Send trajectory up

S/Down: To Send trajectory down

Click this on top for techs: research.png Also building icon for research site adds 2 to total research

Buildings:

Rocket Base adds +1 to max rockets rocketBase.png

All rockets and nukes use scientist and astronauts respectfully so recruit more using this icon on any tile

recruit.png

Finally just keep your tiles alive no endgame in never got around to just keep going for as long as possible.

Interesting game. I like your take on the theme. I hit a point though were it said I had 10 nukes but my button clicks seemed to stop working.

It was fun destroying meteors but overall I couldn't really figure out what was going on and what the endgame was--just to keep your population alive as long as possible? The difficulty should increase more over time. It needs to be clearer that research allows you to build more rockets. I also couldn't figure out how to use nukes. The music was great though!

@jimmothysanchez Forgot to add that rockets use up your astronauts and scientist so you recruit more by clicking on the on the recruit icon.

All in all I enjoyed the game, but it's the concept I really love. An issue I think needs to be addressed is really explaining what everything does. I found myself coming back to this page mid game trying to figure out what I was supposed to do with things. After playing it for 10 minutes I still don't know why you would send a rocket instead of a nuke or what bases do :/. Furthermore it was a bit bothersome to not know if a tile was destroyed without clicking on it and looking at a menu, putting an x over the tile would help a lot. If you polished up the game and added more features I could definitely see myself playing it outside of this game jam. Great work!

@luther-1 Hey thanks for the feedback, there is some features missing and some i didnt have time to fully flesh, but i am looking to polish this up at a later date and maybe release as a full game. I also updated the page to reflect what everything does. Lastly the rockets change the trajectory allowing you make asteroids hit each other but alas not a full fledged feature and thanks again for the feedback.

I really liked the music, it immersed me while I shot nukes to blow up them asteroids. you should add spaceships and have little missiles fight off lesser enemies while you reserve the big boys for the garbage balls in space.

10/10 would listen to music again.

I thought that the ide was great and that most of game the gameplay was good. What I struggled with was what everything did and how it effected stuff so some more feedback on your actions would have been good.
