Lalao by ysty
The downloadable versions have a few extra nice sound effects, but the web version still plays very well.

Lalao is a short story about small worlds and the smaller people who dwell on them. It is controlled with keyboard and mouse.
Made with:
- Unity
- GiMP
- Audacity
- iFontMaker
- Probably other things I've forgotten about.

I really love the whole experience, it is like opening a magical story book and the story become interactive. I would like to see more narratives when the pieces falling off faster and faster. One other improvement would be have ambient background music.
With that said, this already becomes one of my favorite game in this LD. Very well done!
I liked the little twist and open animation you had for the planets, it was a nice touch. Graphics were lovely and matched the style.
"Hey look a Russell's Teapot!" Nice little reference there! :P
Good job, I enjoyed the story you provided :D
Overall I really enjoyed it though. Good job!
### GOOD
-Story telling and the overall feel was great!
-Audio wasn't cringy unlike some other Jam games
-The pacing was great
### IMPROVEMENTS
-The game felt more like an experience, it would have been great if I played as the next small world, then the next!
-More of an experience than a game per-se, not all bad but I was expecting something like a click counter
-Sometimes the particles were hard to click on, maybe it's just me being bad!!!
The graphics worked well and the sounds were very fitting.
My main critique is that the game can not be won. Maybe I was doing too good a job but the game ended because I gave up, not because I was overwhelmed. I think I could have kept the world going for how ever long I wanted.
It would've been cool to have a bit more gameplay to get into the mood, but I think most of the time went into the other assets and paid off well there.
Near flawless execution IMO
Great work!
The game is good, it has immersion, nice story, bit of interactivity. Albeit very sort i found it worth my time.
I only missed a bit of background music, that wouldve finished it for me.
Great entry!
It really got me curious about the creature at the very bottom, hearing more of its story. You did succeed in creating empathy for it for me.
One small point of feedback, I know there was no way to "win" saving the planet, but I think making it even more challenging would be better. As it is, I gave up because I got bored and was curious what would happen, not because it felt like I couldn't do it. I think slowly ramping up the difficulty if the player takes too long to finish that part could help.
Overall definitely an intriguing idea that I could see being built upon with more time!
Edited to add: first game I've given top score to audio in this LD!
Second edit: web version didn't work for me?
