Yeah, I didn't make the laser very necessary.  You can destroy the red turrets with them, but I didn't make the turrets that hard. I liked the visuals and the gameplay. it was fun to discover that the lights give you some sort of speed boost, because first I though \"cool!\" and then I though \"oh shit now it's even harder\". Not sure what the shooting did but it was implemented in an interesting manner, I could certainly envision some interesting gameplay with that mechanic. After the first segment it got really hard though. But kudos!
