In this game your MEMORY will keep you alive!

"Remember or Die" is memory game connected with bullet hell!

You have to match all symbols correctly to win the game.

Each time you will not get correct matching, you have a chance to activate a turret!

Be carefull and try to win! It is not always about how agile you are!

Special thanks for artist friend of mine that appeared from nowhere in the last day of jam and made that awesome symbols ! And also for Buła, mysterious man, that made gifs for me!

Pretty cool idea. Very difficult though. There are a lot of tiles and they some of them look kind of similar. I was never able to match more than 4 :\ guess I'm just not that great at memory though. I liked the art and music pretty well.

That was really difficult, I feel like it might be a little easier if there were a way to reveal the tiles for a short period again, although I don't exactly have a great memory anyway.

@the-icy-one but you have that posibility to do that - just catch blue bullet and it will reveal all for about 2.5 seconds :D

@GameDevMumin ah, didn't notice that, I'll give it another try in that case

Definitely got a little closer using the blue bullets, didn't manage to catch a green one though, what do they do?

☆☆☆ and 3/4
this game is simplistic and fun, however a couple of tiles are very similar and the only thing separating them is color. However, very fun and fast-paced, also graphics are good. I would like a longer time to study the tiles though..

@The_Icy_One Green tiles give you one additional life as it's said in the instructions before the game starts :)

@DragonZBW @DragonZBW Yeah, I know my bad with these tiles, I was pretty short on time and didn't have ideas for more unique shapes. Thanks for your nice reviews <3

This game is super hard :) but fun nontheless. It's the kind of game who give lot's of ideas, now I really want to make a quizz/bullet hell !

Great game ! Quite fun, a very well use of the theme, the mechanics are original and work perfectly well together. Quite difficult also ;) but that's even more fun this way. Great LD entry :)

This is really fun! I sat there playing it for a while, and was thinking it was impossible until I found out the Blue and Green bullets are power ups lol. Good work on this game!!

And thank you for rating [Tower Defense Paradise!](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/tower-defense-paradise)

One of my favourite games for this jam. Great music, easy to learn, fun and very well executed. Congratulations!

16 points, and I think I can not make more of that ^^' This game is quite impossible ! You loose points when you make a mistake, and when you make a mistake, there are turret which want your death, and when you die, you loose, so you have a negative score ^^ There are too many things to remember, I can not do that, sorry x)

Otherwise the game is polished, the music is hectic as well, I liked that !

Congrats, and keep coding :)

Nice catch on the theme! Was a bit stressed by the music though.

Great game there bud! I just suck at it, but is sure doesn't mean its bad. What I would do to improve playabilty is to increase the tile number each level instead of beginning with all tiles.

Just plain awesome. Great combo between some sort of dodger and a memory game. I didnt have too much trouble with the difficulty of the game, so it was quite a lot of fun!

I'd love to be able to set the size of the playing field. That would make it easier for people who aren't good at these type of games and it can make it insanely difficult for people who like a challenge.

Great job man! :D

Nice game, well done, but a bit difficult.
It is probably missing several levels, with increasing difficulty ...

Great use of the theme, I found it very difficult to remember a lot of tiles so it seemed best to wait for blue bullets rather than guess. Also, the sound gets slightly repetitive after a while

Really fun game!

With its ingenious combination of mechanics, the game stays fun from start to finish. 96 points are the best I could muster within the 30 minutes I set aside for this game.

The music also fits very well with the frantic and stressful gameplay, where chaos is rampant and you need to watch and micro-manage everything.

In summray, had fun, got stressed, but still fun. I'll definitely play this some more.

Great and intresting idea, very well done, it's a bit difficult because the symbols are a lot and very difficult to remember

Nice idea and the clean graphics help a lot in letting you just focus on the symbols. The music fits the stressful pace of the game really well, and I had a good time playing it. I'm not sure about the blue bullet mechanic though, as I found myself standing still waiting for a blue bullet to fire when I couldn't remember any more pairs. Perhaps another system for revealing the board that didn't reward slow play would be better - but this didn't have much of an impact on my enjoyment of the game.

Nice game but when you press space to reveal a tile sometimes the character gets in front of it and blocks your vision. Good work

Nice concept, frantic but fun! Might be nice to have less turrets and space them out a bit more but it does help the challenge factor.
If you get chance give our game a go too :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/mechasnek

Cool game! It is really challenging but very fun at the same time. I love the concept, even if I suck at it ahah (my record is...3 matches sooooo yeah)
Great job!

Funny concept and pretty good presentation too! I feel that the difficulty ramps up a bit too quickly - especially when it is a marathon game.

Overall, pretty cool game and with the difficulty turned down a notch I would be very positive about it!

Memeory games! great when you've got of time to kill... but then, that wasn't the case here with bullets everywhere! really original concept, despite the simple style of art, the art well executed and consistent - I found the game to have a good challenge, maybe would be nice to allow turrets to be turned off after a while? I found the blue bullets vital, but quite rare, and quite difficult to collect once many turrets were on at once. but then - thats the nature of the game, and I respect that! Good effort, enjoyed playing!!

Really fun game! The combination of survival and memory worked very well. I loved the unique challenge the blue bullets provided, where you had to carefully search for matches while simultaneously staying alive. One thing that I would change would be to make the currently selected tile a bit more visible; it's surprisingly easy to lose track of when the board is revealed. The music was also a little grating.

My highest score was 206, mainly due to a round where I got lucky with the blue bullets

Frickin' hell, that was difficult as balls. Every wrong answer piles the odds against you, and the shapes are so abstract you don't quite remember what they are... If you plan on making it easier for the player without sacrificing the bullet hell part, use actual pictures that people can associate with! Other than that, it becomes more of a waiting game... Activate one turret, then wait patiently until a blue shot spawns, then do one or two matches, rinse and repeat. Quite easy to break the game... even easier with the print screen function!

Not to say that this game is bad at all, no sir! This was a very innovative idea, and certainly fits the theme well! Not to mention, the music is pretty spiffy~ Overall, a nice game!

@justinooncx Thank you very much! :D I noticed that it is kinda bad thing when you just can wait for blue bullets. I would have to find a way to make it more dynamic with more posibilities to remember tiles but with punishing waiting :P

Very good use of theme; the mix of hectic bullethell micro play and slow macro based memory based objectives is entirely incompatible in nature and you still made it into a digestible experience. Awesome job.

I really like the idea of this, and the simple, bold graphics are very effective. However, it is far too difficult for me. Part of that is due to my terrible memory, but I think a range of different grid sizes would be an ideal way to make this more accessible.

Wow, this one was tough! You definitely get punished every time you mismatch tiles. Maybe lowering the difficulty level would be nice, by either starting with a smaller number of tiles or increasing the amount of time they're revealed. Well done though!

Very cool and also very difficult! I like this twist on the theme! Maybe a few hints would have been nice or some way to uncover a few just for a short time, otherwise the game is really long! Anyhow, I liked the dodging bullets aspect a lot!
