"glow" Our first game Jam! by Angela K.
Check it out on ITCH.IO https://angelak.itch.io/glow-ludam
We worked on this game for the Ludam Dare 42 game jam. We spent 72 hours making this game in our first game jam. We used UE4 and did not use any premade assets audio or scripting. The game jam theme is Running out of space. We managed to churn out five levels.
Game Has Controller Support!
You control a sphere through obstacles of red and blue tiles. Blue tiles are safe, red tiles will fall on contact. The first few levels consist of getting from point A to B without falling. In the last level you have to make contact with every blue tile to finish the game. Enjoy!
We made this game using pretty beefy PC's, please let us know if your were able to run it.

@kirillr Sorry about the file size, we weren't 100% on how to optimize and it could most likely be a lot smaller.
Thank you all who have played our game so far and thank you for all your feed back. We are also enjoying playing all yours !
Good luck!
But our game is better)))
I like it, well done!
But I liked the game, was fun playing
As for the balls reaction time, we're seeing that this feature is not being well received but a few and so it is something we do want to revisit and maybe make the ball not so heavy or multiply the torque values to a higher output more quickly.
Thank you all so much for playing. We are enjoying our time playing all your games and hope our comments and ratings help you all as well.
Looks like I already played your game and I loved it and rated it above and beyond!!
Nice game, the concept is good, the little sounds when you touch a platform adds a lot the feel.
Some camera angles problems on levels that are in more than 2 dimensions, but that does not impact the gameplay.
Have you tried with a less heavy ball?
PS: thank you for playing and rating our game ;)
To answer your question. Yes we did experiment with a lighter ball but felt that the weight created a more ball feel vs a person walking around feel. We might revisit as too how heavy it is though if we decide to continue with the concept of this game. Thanks for the constructive comment !
**Edit:** Also nice to see someone using Unreal.
I have rated your game, but all of my feedback was captured in the stream.

I like in particular the mood of this game
