In this game, you control the Grand Ant Cabaret, preparing a show for your Queen. But Termites have infiltrated your ranks : you must remove them before the Queen arrives !

We aimed at a retro cartoonish style - to go with it, all of the music has been recorded by a live Jazz band during the Jam !!

Loved the music, and the old cartoon style is convincing. Gameplay is simple but engaging. Nice work.

Great concept, perfect execution ! You're spot on the theme, and the worldbuilding around your simple mechanic really makes the game shine. Awesome work :) The music was great too.

pretty fantastic game -- really like the old film style -- the game was very simple but had plenty of opportunity for strategy -- thanks for making this

Interesting but felt mechanically limited, you just picked a stop at a very beginning and wait 10 seconds (plus however long *every* rounds intro took) until you got your optimal 3x3 area

A whimsical and lovely game from start to finish. The snail on the drums was magical. the bug spawning cannon was the only thing that seemed out of place, but all in all solid art direction.

Wow, great cuphead vibes! Enjoyed it a lot! I sometimes found myself wishing for a way to make the spotlight go smaller faster, not having to wait, but then again, it's a memory game so don't know about that.

Really enjoyed the music and the ants dancing. The only issue I had was my worst round was the tutorial round since it explained things too slowly, so pretty much everyone got sacrificed. Still was a fun experience.

The art style is fantastic reminds me of old cartoon and cuphead, music also fits with the art very well. Theme was executed really well, my probably only problem is like captainpilot said you just see which square has most termites then you wait for the square to get smaller. Over all though it was fantastic game one of my favorites this jam.

@digitaldude555 Thanks for your rating, we did have issues scaling the game's difficulty once the player's skill became higher. This game is meant for one or two playthroughs, after which it's a bit easy, and waiting does get long. Glad you enjoyed it anyway ! Have a great day

It's a cute little game, I really enjoyed it, from the art style to the music. I like how you made the drummer move with the music, really nice touch. My only problem would be the tutorial round, where the score actually matter and I didn't know that killing ants will give me A LOT of negative points.

This is a really well made game with some funky jazz music. Gameplay is a bit lacking though.

Franchement c'est bien foutu, le concept est intéressant et sied vraiment au thème. La musique et les graphismes apportent en outre un certain cachet.

(in english for everyone): Neat+interesting concept. This entry is right in the theme, and artisticly it's polished. Well done!
