I liked the traces the fidget spinners leave behind. Also liked the music. However, I wish I was able to shoot at the obstacles.

The first thing I did was collecting a green shiny thing. That didn't go over too well. Fun game, nice work.

Good job! gameplay was smooth, graphics are nice and simple, and the atmospheric music rounds it all up. As a note, asteroids are barely visible at the dark edges of space, et least in my screen :)

Countless UFOs were not on my mind when I signed up for a trip to Mars. Well, maybe that is the reason they call it a one-way journey.

The audio-visuals are fine and the controls solid, except for the shield which is implemented in a rather curious way. If you repeatedly tap space nothing happens, but you end up losing shield energy anyways.

The theme doesn't really show up. Sure, you have energy to use, but it does not run out on its own. If you are really good at dodging, there's no power running out at all. Just a little observation.

An ok, dodge'em up in all. You could have done a bit more I reckon, taken the size of your team.

Hi @huvaakoodia !

Thank you for the feedback. Yes we definitively could have done more (and and lots of ideas). In the end, the lack of experience and the fact that it was the first time we all worked together made this a bit more difficult.

The running out of energy part, you loose energy every second, but maybe we should have made it more drastic.

We hope make a better one in the next ldjam.

The gameplay is a little simple but the art is nice.

Very nice game, I never made it to Mars but I had fun! I feel that the energy-management part wasn't present enough, I worried more about my health, it would be more fun if it were a bit more stressful I think. I loved the art and the general feeling though, great job!

This game is pretty solid overall, nice work. My only complain would be that the hitbox should not reach the tip of the rocket (maybe even smaller).

Nothing else to say, well done.

I didn't make it to mars today... but great choice of music.

Likes:
- the overall graphics are quite nice
- decent sound supports the gameplay well
- music choice is excellent (even if not rateable)
- I like the hexagonal particles, this is a trick I'll remember for my own games

Challenges:
- colliders of spaceship a bit large
- not enough feedback or "juiciness" on the movement, it's such a pretty rocket, yet it moves more like a rock...

Overall:
- beautiful entry, and I'm honoured to lift it over the 20 reviews mark :)
