This game was made using VGDL ported to LibGdx
Control: ARROW KEYS Fire: SPACE
NOTE: OK, OK. Maybe the game is not as good as our previous ones :P. We confess! We have spent all weekend porting the General Video Game Competition framework to LibGDX! You can see the source code here https://github.com/punkto/gdx-vgdl-engine (checkout develop branch).

The game is easy enough to understand, but the player sprite seems to be a bit misplaced so it's often hard to tell where the player is actually standing in relation to the enemies. On one of the levels, this leads to the player appearing to stand half inside the bottom wall when they are on the bottom-most tile.
I'd have preferred if the player movement was a bit smoother than the current tile-by-tile style. But well, it can't be helped if you were busy porting a library. Which is pretty cool in and of itself, so I'll just add a star for that. Well done getting this far despite the time constraints!
