JTDC is a game where our titular friend James must go through dungeons, filled with monsters, and lots o' loot! But the more loot and weapons he collects, the more he realizes the literal weight of his actions.

You must get rid of heavy loot, but it could be really handy, or get you some extra power! If you try to carry too much, the monsters will have an easier time...

Can you defeat those pesky monsters and get out with the best? It's up to you!

This game is obviously just a prototype, and I'm sure you are aware of heaps of things that still need to be implemented, but I can only imagine weren't due to time. One thing that felt strange was that the guns didn't aim at your cursor (at least not the graphic) and it felt weird that the inventory items had no bearing on the weapons you could use. I could use all the guns and sword without having anything in my inventory. I also didn't find any win OR lose conditions. Probably the best feedback I could give is to look into managing time better; try different techniques to allocate time slots and plan out your jam. This can help immensely! The graphics look great, but the game needs music to liven the mood. Good luck with future jams!

This seems like a solid start. It's hard to know what to suggest given the unfinished state of the game, but one thing I feel would be beneficial is some kind of incentive for picking up and dragging around all those heaps of gold - perhaps some sort of shop or bartering mechanic?
