Background:

As population grows, the earth is running out of space. Thus your job is to try to find a new home by running out of space!

Guide: GamePlay3.PNG Player Movement - 'W' 'S' 'A' 'D' or Arrow Keys

Shoot - Mouse Left Click or Press Ctrl Key

Whenever player jumps, it loses its jumping points! When jumping points go to zero, the player will fall and die. Shoot meteor to collect more jumping points!

Goal:

Get a high score!

Collect all 12 types of meteor to unlock something very cool!

Pretty solid game. I liked the graphics and shooting sound. The collection of different asteroids was a nice touch as well. Good job!

I didn't quite get it. Laughed at the first impression, but otherwise ended up a bit "meh". Music was good tho.

Fun game! I liked the variety of meteors and collecting them all to unlock that special thing. I does seem like you could play this forever though, as the difficulty doesn't seem to ramp up much. Regardless, keep up the good work!

Loved the sound track and visuals, game play was fun but seemed a little... off at times? could't think why though because overall I loved the game!

A nice game. I tried to get all 12 meteors but couldn't quite get there. (dammit!)
I liked the music and the art was ok.
Decent game overall.
Although it was simple I enjoyed it.

Fun Game! but I found the web version hard on a mac as the key used to shoot also caused the window to lose focus

An endless floater?? Gave me a bit of a Flappy Bird feel, but with a gun and no pipes! Pretty solid overall, although I couldn't get my gun to fire consistently, sorta like it jammed for no discernible reason. Other than that, it was an interesting challenge and I love the slight eeriness of it all.

LET ME RUN OUT OF SPACE BECAUSE WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF SPACE! Ha, laughted at the concept, very funny indeed. The controls are odd but not clunky, working very well, and so is the game. The graphics and the soundtrack are nice as well. Very interesting entry, congrats!

Good game! I suck pretty hard (my highscore is 4 meteors ^^) but it's definitely fun.

I liked it! I couldn't seem to replenish the jump meter fast enough, so I didn't make it very far. The sound effects are great and the music is pretty good too. :thumbsup:

@galan Hi Galan, thx for the comments. I gun was designed to only shoot when meteor gets closer to you. This is to encourage player to stand on top of the meteor. I could try to increase the range though, maybe a power up.

@danny-sun Soz, I think I was too tired and didn't read the description well enough. I tried to aim, but I guess you auto aim at the closest? With the given scope it's a bit more fun. 😊

Sorry for the spam before. The site was running slow and I multiclicked the 'publish' button >_<.

I tried the game again with the knowledge that I needed to be near the meteor to shoot, and it made a big difference — I even got the unlock! Modified the score accordingly. A clearer separation of the gun and character, and maybe a 'reload' sound effect, would go a long way to communicating that feature.

Great game! I love the literal take on the theme, and the game has a great feel! While the graphics aren't amazing, the jumping animation looks awesome! There were a few bugs where I couldn't jump, even though my meter wasn't empty, but other than that, well done!
