Loved the graphics. Weird messed up story line but I liked it, very funny. Didn't connect to much with the theme but overall great job with the game.

You should update the description on this page now that a Windows version is available so you don't accidentally scare someone off :wink:

The narration at the beginning was a welcome touch! Volume on it was a bit low compared to the rest of the game, but it was pretty great. Next time out you may want to consider adding subtitles for the hearing impared or folks playing without the sound on.

I loved the music throughout! It is incredible.

Very good detail in all the locations.

I did have a problem with the dialog. I could have been funny if the swearing was restricted to one character (I'd pick Ton Hi :wink:) and maybe running with the 'Carla's a bitch' joke, but with everyone swearing all the time it just lost its punch and felt juvenile.

Heck of a job for a jam game. Color me impressed!

Heck of a job guys. Great Work! First off, i reckon the best thing about this game is the music. So much variety and they fit into the scenery really well. The art is awesome, especially with the immense amount of detail, like the sticky tape on the poster. Gameplay wise, maybe the movement could have been a little quicker or 'snappier' because the main part of the gameplay is the dialog system. So moving a little quicker helps with the flow of the game. Once again Great work guys and congratulations! :smiley:

Nice game. I like humor and narrative (though it's a bit messy as @neweichgames wrote: first I spoke with all of characters and Shirley was the last one; there I get her confession about Tony; but when I returned to Tony Floppy boy seemed to be unaware of this).

Ending is impressive. I like how it was set up with small details during the whole game.

I loved the Graphics and the Game style.. The music is great..

We had a good laugh, nice job :) the music was very enjoyable, and the graphics were good. I would say the rhythm was on point, did not got bored, I had to change location often, and the dialogues were short enough to keep you interested in it. Good game overall :)

Made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion, very simple mechanics, but the mood and story tied it all together very well.

Short but fun, the graphics and music fit well together. I feel there was some overused swearing, makes it lose it's impact whether it be funny or otherwise, but other than that well done!

Very polished game. Loved the music and graphics. Only thing I'd mention is that I was stupid enough to often accidentally select a dialogue option again after it had finished. Then I'd mash the space key like a madman, which resulted in me selecting it accidentally again. Either way, amazing job!

Great job! Particularly the music and sounds. Opening narration was good and set the tone (or lack there of) for the rest of the game. I agree that @devastus that the swearing and insults was a bit over the top, but that can be personal preference. The end bit was a huge wtf moment and quite funny. The theme was nowhere to be seen though, at least if it was I didn't see it.

Really hilarious stuff here! The toneshift at the end was really a WTF LOL moment. Narration and writing was spot on!

Great narration, ending and music (especially the last one).

Interesting game. The best part, hands down, was the music. That was a very good soundtrack. As others have said, the humor tried too hard and the cursing was so pervasive that it lost its humor. Also, I would add that in a text heavy adventure game, grammar and spelling are extremely important. There were so many spelling and grammar issues that it greatly detracted from the story. Paste the text in to Google docs, Word, or another spell/grammar checker before using it if it is not your strong suit.

Also, as others have also said, I did not see the theme in the game, but you are not actually required to follow the theme. Good start!

I gotta say, I normally don't have the patience for adventure games and avoid them. But you had me lolling at the first scene, and then once I got to Ton-Hi (including the BG for his store) you sealed me in. It was hilarious writing coupled with great music so I stayed til the end. Awesome work, and also one of the few adventure games I've seen this LD.

Unfortunately I cannot play your Windows 64 bit game on my 32 bit machine, could you add another build?

@gonutz We will try to do that (along with the Linux version we are struggling to fix it). But otherwise, you can still play it by running the source file with [Löve 2D](https://love2d.org/), I see there is a 32 bit version ! :)
