Black Market Nostalgia by boyTurnedRobot
You live in a city run by an evil corporation called Exaction Corp. They have it's citizens contained and controlled just they way they like it, but you can't stand it any longer. It's time to fight against the powers that be by distributing mix tapes and bootlegged VHS. Remove the evil influence of the corporation by gaining your own.
Start in your home neighborhood and distribute your nostalgic items. As you gain influence you will get the option to unlock any neighborhood you want and distribute your items (the buttons will light up). But be careful. The better a neighborhood's temperament is toward the corporation, the harder it is to earn influence. However, the neighborhoods with higher class citizens will pay more chits for your items. Spend chits at the shop to increase your voice, which will help you earn more influence.
Win by removing all corporate influence from the neighborhoods. Lose by giving up and abandoning your city.
NOTE: If your browser isn't in view, the music will continue to player, but the game itself will not. This is not intended for an idle game, but you know, I ran out of time.
EDIT: Fixed a game breaking bug that slowed the gain of influence then crashed the game. The game runs a little too fast now and the numbers can get out of control, but at least it's playable. Thank you for playing.

Audio, graphics and mechanics worked well togehter though and it was totally bug-free which is allways a big plus!
Feedback:
- game kinda plays itself, lacks of events, cpu competition or anything that requires player reaction. Maybe some things should be more manual, like distribution or taking over the area.
- Remember Deadlock game? i would love to see some more detail of whats going on inside of every district and micromanage there.
- no selected states for areas or 'purchased' state for upgrades.
- your itch demo page is not entirely visible on 16:10 screens (bottom of the window)
- numbers get into scientific format

For what's there, I really liked the industrial sounding music, it went perfect with the game and really set the mood. The interface and design is nice too. I love the use of vhs and cassette tapes for Nostalgia items.
