made by daniel for LD 39 (JAM)

downloads on itch

Controls were designed for gamepad, the keyboard+mouse controls are a bit jury-rigged.
We've fixed the controls post-jam, but the jam version of the game will be left up for the rating period probably.

WASD/Shift/Left-Click
R-key to reset game to start screen

Tools: godot, aseprite, blender, audacity.
Additional resources: edg32 color palette, music by sketchylogic, ribbon trail effect by leonard meagher

Devin did most of the programming, Danny did most of the art.

Very, very much liked the idea of the attack patterns presented as dots on the floor. Didn't much get the rest. Sorry.

Go Godot engine!

I suck at this or maybe the no gamepad controls are a little tough.

Cool robo models!

Graphics and music is really cool, but controls (for PC , I don't know how it will be on gamepad) not that good. When I move one direction and want quickly to change it, I press another key but I don't release previous key yet, in this case my character suddenly stops. If you fix this that would be awesome action fighting!

Good game! I really dig the graphics, it looks neat! Took me a while to grasp the controls, though.

Very cool entry - excellent visual style! I didn't have a gamepad handy, so I won't knock the controls too much. Also LOVED the attack pattern mechanic, but sometimes it felt a little unfair (as in, definitely not standing on a circle but killed anyway).

Hello there... I hope your participation at LD was satisfactory...

It's a good idea, interesting and funny... What about put two enemies at same time?... or... autofocus the character to the enemy?

Controls seemed a little off but nothing major, perhaps it's because I was playing the keyboard. While the gameplay was simple it was still fun and got hectic as I progressed through. I really love those character models, gives me huge 32X vibes, overall great stuff! :D
