Never run out of SPACE: a ZIP folders journey by Swini
It's my first Ludum Dare. So I had no opinion about it. It was harder than I thought but I am happy I did it in time.
In my game you are a little Zip-folder. You havo to navigate through the computer. There is on problem. On the computer is a virus and the disk space shrinks.
Controlls: Forward: ArrowRight Back: ArroLeft Jump: ArrowUp Space: Drop bomb or next Text
I hope you like my game. I wish you a lot of fun. Ludum dare cya next time:)

I played your game its looks VERY cool, And the sound Was cool but got a little to high the boss fell off the platform when he was at 1 HP :frog::gun:. But WHERE IS THE THEME MY DUDE? i give it 5  out of 10
The theme should be the PC that is full of Data and the disc space is shrinking. It was hard to show the shrinkingXD BUt tank you my friend;)
Edit:works now.
PS for anyone starting lvl1:left,right,center,right
@decentsauce thank you. Yea I was working and working but i forgot to let people testXD
Also thanks for making game playable in browser!
1. I think the field of view is too small. Level 1 and 2 often feels unfair, because I see an obstacle way to late.
2. The red bomb in Level 3 shouldn't collide with the player, because this makes jumping feel buggy.
But i am proud of one thingXD Every player reached the goalXD
Great color nevertheless i loved it !
But sometimes it's hard, the collisions are too strict and the obstacles big, and you can't do anything about it if you don't know the level.
But overall, great little game.
Nice job :)
Great job, i loved the introduction a lot also !
The art style and the narrative seemed compelling.
The story is a nice addition and it makes for a coherent experience though there are a few spelling errors. I think with a few more sprites or even more meaningful colours you could eliminate that confusion and it make it even better.
But our game is better)))
Nice entry !
I encountered one smapp bug: the virus fell of the platform
but anyways still enjoyable
Good job on your first entry!
I dig the dark aesthetic with glowing text/player/objects. Interesting take on the theme and the sounds were fitting. The first level was a bit punishing with the limited FOV but it makes it more like a memorization thing. As others mentioned, the boss doesn't die when it falls off. That's an easy fix though. If you jump on his head you can keep tapping forward to coax him off the edge :P Good job for your first LD!
Thank you for your great feedback. It helps so much!! This competiton is the best place to learn and improve cause of honest people!
Nice job!
I'm not much a fan of using the up arrow to jump rather than space, but I got used to it — it did, however, not always worked when I thought it would during the boss fight on level three. I couldn't jump when I was on top of its head, so I couldn't get clear in time to avoid being kicked across the screen. I also wasn't entirely sure if the things I dropped on it did any damage.
I thought the introduction was pretty good, though (a few typos, but nothing unintelligible)!
Do check out our game as well maybe you'll like it.
Here are a few suggestions for future updates:
-- Make a skip-text key.
-- Make the diffrent platforms have a unique feature. I mention this because, they were some bouncy platforms of different colors and it was a bit incoherent. Perhaps, make the bouncy platforms all one color for consistency.
-- zoom the camera out. This way I can see more of the level and can plan ahead. I say this because some platforms were offscreen on level 2. For that particular level, because it was easy, it was fine. But generally speaking, for traditional platformers, the player would not appreciate platforms hidden offscreen.
-- The boss level was at level 3 was hard. I think its because of the narrow platform.
From what I saw, it seems to be a good game!
Good job for finishing this ;)
