This was a neat game, the screen shake gets too intense for me though. Good job!

Nice presentation, I don't think I fully 'get' the game, but it works and feels good to play. The crosshair is useless tho.

Is there ever any reason not to just shoot out a handful of blocks in the middle? It's pretty, but I feel like it's missing something to be a full prototype.

Good start on a game. I share similar concerns to others, in that I can just sit there and move if I happen to be in front of gray block. To really give it the shmup feel you can add movement to the blocks and have them grow in more dynamic ways. As always, your visuals are on point though and you're really good at making things feel kinetic even when there's technically not much going on.

Great Job! I Love the bass line syncing with your shots and that this all fits with the rest of the music. Great to see in a compo entry.

Wow, like I was playing this peaceful game, not exactly understanding the complete aspect of it, how the rhythm aspect worked, but enjoying the shooting puzzle being kind of relaxed. Not caring if I was playing optimally or not. Having turned the volume up. And then :bomb:, I died and that loud effect almost scared me off my chair. So you can almost add surprise-horror to the genres.

I think the game could benefit from some feedback as you pass a wall. At the basic level, just how many you got by, but perhaps better some score reflecting how well you did on it.

Really nice game.

I have a soft spot for games that try to implement music into the gameplay and in that regard I think what is here is amazing! The rhythm and the way it seamlessly blends with the background sound is brilliant! I did however find it dificult to judge exactly where the player avatar was and as a result I colided with the obstacles. This is a type of game that I would like to see more of. Also the visuals are perfect for the games tone, great job!

Really awesome level of polish  , I think the main thing missing from the game was some kind of winning condition, even a high score type thing would work.

excellent audio as usual! I love how I can always compose my own pieces with your works.
It did get a bit monotonous; maybe a steeper difficulty curve or something to distract from the repetition would help with that.

great work, always looking forward to your stuff :)

Really good concept and presentation both, especially the audio, I love it! I couldn't figure out the use of the rapid fire weapon other than killing myself.

Not enough devs try to do dynamic music/audio in games, keep it up!
