What must be done to stop the night terrors by Isvan

[raw]
made by Isvan for LD 43 (COMPO)

Full screen Recommended as Im terrible with UI, and the play button gets cut off

Controls : Right click to move villagers to mouse position

Num 1 : Order a villages to make a defense tree

Num 2 : Order a villager to make a blocking rock

Num 3 : Order a villager to make a fire

Instructions

Survive as many waves as you can, each structure costs a life but can save many more.

The more you sacrifice to build the more the night terrors will spawn

At the end of each wave new villages will be created depending on how many villages are left. The more villagers left the more new ones will appear

Hints : Make at least one fire so you can see whats going on and where to run too

For my first time doing a Ludum Dare Compo, and working with 3D in Unity I'd say Im pretty happy with my results, didnt get to add as many features as would like but at least I finished ScreenShot1.png

It was a pretty nice game. The idea behind it was solid and the execution was good. The only thing I would ask for is more variety, and maybe some more sound effects (turn-into-tree sound, turn-into-fire sound etc).

Overall, as your first LD compo entry it was a good one.

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare entry! Building controls feel a bit imprecise. It's tough to know where things will be built.

Gratz for your first LD!
Made it to wave 13 :D.

It felt very simplistic, I didn't find much use in much of the structures except for the defensive tree. I started losing control over my villagers at around wave 10, and the night terrors started tracking towards a villager that wouldn't die.
Overall it is a simple base of a game.

I guess, I didn't figure out the positioning of fire and rock. Tree felt most useful. =D Seeing where things will be build might have help.
I really liked the lighting effects!
