Tiny Empire by Matthew Roelle

Build as large of an empire as you can by building your army and colonizing planets. Think of a simplified RTS set in space, where you build a simple base on each planet, and build a fleet of ships to both protect your current empire and wage war to expand it.

Sadly, I couldn't figure out however how to get to other planets! I built my econ structures, upgraded my shipyard, built a bunch of settlement ships, scouts, drones etc... and tried clicking on "deploy all", which caused their icons to appear over the menu, but they never flew off or gave me an option of choosing a planet or anything like that. Shame, since I kinda wanted to conquer some planets. All in all great start and would honestly love to play a fleshed out version!
Being a game done in 72 hours I think it's normal that there isn't a tutorial and not many informations on the items you can build, but with some try and fail the basic logics of the game are understandable.
My highest score so far is 7669, I don't know if it is good or not.
There are some things I don't understand:
* is it me or maybe the game is a bit unbalanced? I couldn't manage to conquer more than 3 planets, and as soon as I get to that a lot of enemies come and destroy everything, like it was a zerg rush against a noob...
* what should I do as soon as a planet finishes all the available resources (the number at the center of the planet)? Just use it as a ships factory?
* it isn't clear that every planet can have only 5 buildings, maybe an indicator or a feedback when I try to build the sixth building wouldn't hurt
* some stats would have been helpful about the ships you can build: what is a drone for? What is the difference between scouts and tanks?
Other than that I think this game has good potential!
Great work!
