Thanks for the game!

At first when I saw this, I though, this should be easy. Boy did it get hard fast. I did really like the decision to match the colors of the characters to the shooting lanes. It did make it easier to line up bonus scores, at least until the there are so many letters on the view. Also the audio cues helped let me know when there was something fast approaching to get it taken care of quickly.

Also my score was 319.

I like the mechanic where you get bonus points for hitting the letter with the right gun. It ends up being quite a lot to keep track of! It would be cool if bullets went away once they hit a target, so you don't accidentally hit two when they overlap.

The game works great. Though, I'm now a little frustrated that my keyboard isn't in alphabetical order... Haha. I particularly liked the rainbow fireworks.

Pretty alright game! I think it could start a little faster, and it could definitely use some more polish, but I liked it!

Good game. A leaderboard would really be a great feature (given more time im sure, haha)

Nice game, pretty solid for Ludum Dare. The only real problem I have is that it feels too slow and games take too long. Maybe that's just me because I can touch type at about 130wpm, but other than that I have no complaints :)

I liked the calm start, it game me time to understand what was going on. Then suddenly, the difficulty showed how much I should perform! :O
Does it get harder forever? I felt I could stay alive (barely) by making a 'wall' of bullets. :j
In the end I let myself lose, because it didn't seem like I was going to otherwise.

I loved the overwhelming feeling of not having control over ALL THE LETTERS, but somehow staying alive. :P

My first thoughts when seeing your game... intimidating! So. Many. Letters. Then I got really worried when I thought that I could only kill a target when it passed over the correct letter's path. I was glad when I found out that was just a bonus. It was fun to try to get all the bonus points, but, I had just as much fun randomly smashing keys to make a wall of symphonic alphabetic hell-fire. Great job!

Ah, this was quite fun - and even though my typing skills are a bit lacking i really enjoyed it. Good work!

Really cool. I'm curious if you considered laying out the cannons as the letters appear on a keyboard rather than in alphabetical order.
Having them in order was an extra layer of coordination, and is probably more fun.

@BitJester-Media I didn't consider that, actually. I was trying to capture "typing muscle memory" with "arcade game" without a typical "spell the words" implementation. Laying the cannons in keyboard order might have made the game easier, but at the risk of removing the "typing" part. It's a good idea to try, though. There's so many design decisions that I didn't make, didn't think of, or couldn't do in the limited time! :id:

Sound effects were hilarious. It seemed fairly simple, i love that you can click all the keys. I felt like i had 26 cannons or something. Nothing was going to get past, and nothing did. Till i voluntarily jumped ship. Thanks for that mash up of typing with a typing game and typing numbers to shoot. I think i got all the typing right here.

Brilliant game. :) It's fun, rewarding and challenging to match up the letters. Really great submission.

I was able to survive easily enough by just mashing 'A' and 'B' and skipping the bonus points. One way to make this more challenging is to have bullets run out unless bonus points are scored. Still, overall this was a lot of fun, and I especially liked the color palette and the sound effects.

Very cool idea. Had fun playing it for a good while. Audio was perfect for this game.
