Western Hero by Guilb
In the wild west, fame builds up quick. People will know you. Both friend and foe.
As your name spreads by the desert, more of them will come. But you will be prepared, your bullets will give'em a warm welcome.
As people start to live near you, protect them, watch out for them.
Your name, your fame is all you have. Pay close attention to it, always...

Nice work, graphics and sounds really amazing (added asset forge tool to my list).
But there is one minor problem: you are shooting not in exact pointer location, but it's a matter of habit.
* make the enemy bullets slower and increase the density,
* make the villagers to run slower and they could be knocked out by bullets but player could help them up.
Coffins +1
Easy to play and easy to have fun. Good job!
The one thing I REALLY wish I could change is the player's movespeed: it feels like I'm trying to have a gunfight while walking through molasses. Also, I think it would be cool and helpful if the townspeople used their little speech bubbles to warn you of incoming bandits: it would make finding them easier and add to the atmosphere. Of course, I understand that it's hard to do things like that during the jam.
All in all, though, definitely one of the best games I've seen thus far. Good work!
AMAZING graphics and music however, the post-effects made the pixel art look so good, and the music was on point ! (loved the responsive dancefloor)
(our game doesn't appear on my account, but it's over here : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/the-darkest-light )
Great game non the less.
I wish the animation of movement, for example like Lego, some particles when fire and kill some one.
Tremendous work for a jam game!
Great job, guys! :)
