​Sky Runner is an infinite-runner game created for Ludum Dare 42. The theme of LD42 is "Running out of space".

How to play: It's simple. Press SPACE to jump. Avoid meteorites and collect bitcoin. The more bitcoin you have, the more difficulty increases.

This game was created for the Compo, but I accidentally gitted my source code (and everything else) to the eternal abyss. Fortunately, I did manage to get a web build of the game up on itch before the deletion, so I am still able to submit for the Jam.

Neat game! While the concept is kind of unoriginal, the execution was somewhat unique. It does feel like you could have done more, but overall I thought it was a pretty nifty little experience. The hitboxes were unclear at times though. Sometimes I would go under a meteorite assuming I could make it, only to get hit on the hair.

Pretty Neat! the game was pretty addictive when you were in the groove. an ability I would add to make the game more dynamic would be crouching or charged jumps. The game doesn't really fit the theme except for a pun where you are actually "running out of space"

The game is surprisingly trippy and chill. The intro is very cute.

Nice minigame ;D The music is catchy and I like the soundeffects. Also the animations are really well done. I think there was maybe a small lack of content, because all you had to do was avoiding one type of obstacle and collecting one type of collectible. But as a minigame that's totally fine. I played it a few times, but didn't get higher than "space-level". Also the transition between sky and space was very smooth and well done. Nice game ;)

I absolutely loved the intro and the premise in general. It's ridiculous and simple. Very nice job on that. I think making a few small tweaks could bring the game to the next level, like letting you have more control over the jump based on how long you hold down spacebar, and maybe adding a lives system so that you don't die instantly the first time you hit a meteor.

The sound design was good and the music was on point, perfectly going along with a dude casually walking into space. Looks like this would be perfect on mobile as well!

Nice simple infinite runner. I enjoyed the intro and the transition into space. The music is charming and the player is amusing as well.
I'd like if your jump height varied depending on how long you hold the button and also if you could duck under the meteorites as well. Nice entry!
