The pirate behavior is a bit simplistic which can lead to repetitive game play (you know exactly how much you can carry before you are in danger). The expanded zone of pirate attention in relation to cargo was an interesting take on the theme and the gameplay was fun and engaging. The sound effects were a nice touch, but music would have added a lot to it.\n\nI think having contact with the land resulting in an instant loss is a bit much. If you want a consequence for nearing the land masses, perhaps consider having a few hits before your ship sinks, or lossing some days while you make repairs. I also had an issue with one of the docks not allowing me to buy or sell.\n\nI would love to see this expanded and the inclusion of new ships and upgrades, various types of cargo, and simulated ship combat.
