Lootsalot by Sn4pi

Lootsalot is a game about the terrors of Adventuring : Dark Dungeons, Mean Monsters and - worst of all - Inventory Management!
In Lootsalot you play as the Inventory of Sir Lootsalot, a grizzled hero on his way to acquire riches in the mines. Your job consists of amassing valuable items and discarding worthless ones, equipping him with fitting gear and keeping him in good health - all while protecting the Items from external influences and attacks.
The game is played entirely by drag and drop and becomes gradually faster and faster - how much money can you get before succumbing to the dreary Depths?
TIP : After some struggles and feedback, We should mention that using the right weapon type is very important for dealing and avoiding damage. Additionally, you can avoid getting your items burnt by shaking the fire out!

The game is kind of hard with the mouse but I then played it with my Cintiq and it became too easy. The game looks great for a tablet, it needs a bit of difficulty tuning but the mecanics are solid!
The graphics are pretty too :)
My only gripe is that sometimes it wasn't very clear where the character really was to drop the item on him. Maybe the merchant store could be a real pause so that the player can take his breath, it becomes a bit too frantic otherwise.
Great job !
Sadly, the title screen and introduction to the game didnt make it into the final build by about 10 minutes, but we were planning on giving the player at least a small pause before throwing him into the fray.
The franticness was intended as it was too easy at first and the difficulty was supposed to be because of the increasing speed; but the balance ended up a bit all over the place.
Concept is very unique and art style is awesome!)
The crystal ball is just like the scroll and the wand a magic weapon; it's stronger than the wand and weaker than the scroll. Thanks for playing and the CC!
It's tricky to understand which weapon fits which enemy, I was sort of guessing as well, but I'm sure you guys could figure this one out with some brainstorming. Also just an idea to add something like a suit of armour with a separate health bar, or possibly something like 3 lives to the player? As much as I've played, I didn't get a lot of potions and most of the time there wasn't much I could do to survive. (or maybe I missed something)
Anyway, amazing job, especially as it was done so quickly! Would love to see a full version, cheers!
Also, would you mind uploading the source code? As a programmer, I'm curious as to how you programmed some of the mechanics!
I've gotten the mobile thing from multiple people now; who knows, just maybe we'll see where this could go!
I'll ask my bud to upload the code or get in contact with you for the code of some mechanics for sure though!
I linked the Source Code and another version of LootsALot - which is way more polished than the Ludum Dare version - to the download section so feel free to use it!
Also I managed to cause this when I pressed the fullscreen (?) button

Thanks for the source code! I never would have thought to program the game how you did, but it works so much better!
