Was very enjoyable to play but my biggest problems with this is the ui and selection. I don't know if it was just a problem at my end but it was sometimes hard to select things and it did some things you did not want it to do.
But other than that great work!
Also with that name I was expecting it to be a parody on the book 2001, which would be cool as well :D
The few times I was able to zoom back and watch as waves came in, it was a fun to watch, but the UI is really hard to use.
The gameplay is very unique and challenging and the art is just right. (Nice soundtrack!) Maybe the tooltips were a little too sparse at the beginning and I didn't know what buildings to build where. But after getting the hang of the game, it turned out to be great fun!
I think the game's learning curve is a bit too steep, which might scare off some people too early.
Hope you get all the needed votes ;)
On the whole, everything felt pretty balanced for a game of this type, I felt like the money-earning rate was fair and gave me enough ability to buy defenses. Toward the end I felt like the enemy spawn rate got a bit too tough too quickly, but it took several minutes to get to that point.
Good job on coming up with an interesting concept and implementing it well.
