Loved the snakes movement and the idea! A bit hard to control but pretty fun though!

I really like this take on the classic Snake game. The snakes you spawn go for pellets and spawn their own little snakes, what a neat idea. Loved that they have some decent pathing too. Was a very solid game, just wish there was an option to speed up or slow down the game. Great entry!

(Highest score was 1200 I think!)

After the deadline I managed to quickly port the game to HTML5. I had to completely replace the snake tail system to use moving segments because the previous method used too many instances and was too heavy for browsers to handle. Other than the changed appearance of the snakes and a decreased room speed, the game is the same. I hope you guys like the HTML5 version!

Noooooooooo, the snakes tail system was the best of the game! But it's cool anyway :)

My pros and cons for the game:

Pros: for some reason I loved the death animation LOL and the soundtrack too. You made a nice approach to the theme based on some classic games.

Cons: I found the snake hard to control. If I could do that with the mouse, it'd be an improvement. Also, some pellets are spawning too close to the walls. That's kinda bothersome because you know, you can die really easily collecting them. A minimal distance from walls when spawning should be ok

The game is well executed, graphics and audio are nicely done. My only problem with it is that is not very original. Nice job anyway!

It's a very solid game (considering it was done in less than 72 hours). No particular weaknesses. Gameplay, graphics, sound - everything done well. I agree with @sbarrio, gameplay is not innovative enough and that's the game's biggest problem.

Nicely done game! I disagree; I feel like the concept is pretty original. The graphics are adorable, the music fits really well, and I love the gameplay! Great job!

Oh wow I loved this game! Visuals and audio were spot on. The controls felt amazing to me. I love the kinda game where you have to finely adjust the movement. What I loved most is how you mixed snake-elements with exploration so I rated you very high in innovation for that. I never thought I'd play another snake game I actually enjoy, but you proved me wrong, lol.
