Darkness.

It's there. It's coming for you. Run, BULB-07. The power plant you reside in has been shut down by crooks. Your power is running out. Your only solace is escaping. Escape this place before your battery drains. Quickly! Time is of the essence. Darkness is coming. The run is endless. Jump. Speed Up. Slow Down. Dodge. Escape. Survive. Run before you run out of power. Run before you run out of time.

Controls :

  • UP ARROW to jump
  • RIGHT ARROW to accelerate
  • LEFT ARROW to slow down

Hint :

When you see a generator, it means a power charging pad is nearby. To activate it, simply slow down and jump on it to regain power. This'll help a lot in the long run.

This is stylish and fun, and a tough platformer! I liked trying again and again, though. Love the art style, it's really great. :bulb:

I definitely gave this more retries than any other game I've played so far. I'm kinda bad - I got to around 500 points on my best attempt, but if I was more patient i think I could have done better.

The 'feel' is right on. I didn't feel like I needed to learn, the game just played how you expected it to and that goes a long ways. I didn't feel ripped off or like I was cheated by a cheap game.

Good work, it's fun!

It's tough! best score was in the 200, the illustrations are great. Are you sure the charging pads works? I did as you said in the hint but couldn't get it to work

Thank you for the feedback!

It currently seems like the charging pads sometimes fail to trigger a battery recharge. You can blame last minute hackjob rushed coding for that one (my bad).

We'll try to figure out what's up with that. I don't think we're allowed to update as of yet, but we'd love to add fixes and content in an eventual post-LD version.

Thanks again for your reviews and feedback.

As much as I think infinite runners are kinda driven into the ground at this point, this was very fun! I really liked the dark but encouraging atmosphere you created with the description. However, I think with games like these platforms should be made very clear so the player doesn't miss a jump, ESPECIALLY when they are going very fast! Other than that you did a fantastic job my good sir!

The bulb's face changing depending on how much power you have was a nice addition! The power changing how much you can see was a nice touch, but it's hindered by the broken recharge pads, If it gets fixed, I can see it becoming a fun little time waster!

I love your Graphics!
Also, the music makes me feel the battery haha, don't really know how to describe the feeling

I am little confused about how your game generate the power charging pad?
I ask because one time I pass three charging pad on a same straight line.
If it is totally random, I guess it may be a little bit not fair to guys that not lucky :P
