Regrets and todo:

Enemies! There is nothing to shoot at right now! I just got my hands full putting everything together.

Gun! There were guns in the original plan, guns not only will kill bad guys but also as a means to travel.

Roque-like stuff. Lifes and tools to survive...

Moving / Intractable blocks

Special World Pieces Cut / Slide / Rotate existing world pieces!

I like this. Take it further and release it with all the mechanics and polish you'd like to see :)

So interesting game !! I really like the idea of creating world around myself. Every piece must be considered before placing it. When I didn't place it right there was a real challenge. It would be nice to have the possibility to undo sometimes. It's could be easier mode or something. Your todo list looks interesting. I would like to play when you'll implement this mechanics to the game. Saving link for voting :ballot_box:

One more thing - in unity, on your cursor texture, be sure it's 32x32, of type cursor and has 'read/write' checked - for me the cursor on windows has just black placeholder square, I had the same problem and it was both the size and the 'read/write' bool.

Fantastic! My favorite of the Jam that I've tried out so far. Great job, I hope you continue it and maybe add controller support. :D

Good music, nice graphics. Really cool idea and implementation of it! If you fall of the world it sometimes take alot of time until you die and the game restart. If you will indeed gp ahead with your TODO list i think it will be an amazing game!

Overall this is a great and fun Ludum Dare game.

Great mechanics! Loved how you have to make your own level :D

I love the idea of building your own level and using stepping stones to get to the goal. I like how your little character looks like he's going for some 2D-Counterstrike and then the game turns out to be more cerebral in nature.

The game itself could definitely benefit from some more polish, for instance, I got stuck in a block when I placed a room to save myself from falling. Also I would question whether you actually need mouse controls (maybe with the exception of placing rooms). The game's controls might feel tighter from keyboard-only controls when you steer the guy around the room.

I appreciate that you added music to the game, but I think it was a bit too playful for the general feeling of the game.

Overall a solid entry with a very unique idea that I could see outside of Ludum Dare if you gave it a few extra rounds of polish.

Building the levels like jigsaw puzzles and play the levels as an action game is an interesting idea. I imagine there could be multiple ways to build the level which leads to different difficulty for playing the level. The player's puzzle solving skills and action skills complement each other. This brings replay value but also makes game designer's job harder. There is a lot potential of this idea. On one extreme, there can be only one way to build the level, which makes it a classical jigsaw puzzle and has only one solution. On another extreme, every possible combination of fragments can make a playable level - this makes the players feel creative but is hard to design. How to find balance?

Physical mechanism is smooth and enjoyable.

A very relaxing and fun game! Music is beautiful with interesting transition. Graphic is nice and clean. And I love the character control particularly, which feels smooth and comfortable. You must have tons of experiences in making a platformer game.

And the gameplay design is rather innovative. Players can actually build and explore their small world, which fits this LD's theme. Incredible work for 48 hours.

Quite interesting! I really love this concept!

The game in the current state is a bit too simple to deliver its potential. It wasn't able to demonstrate the puzzle mechanic, and only a little of the exploration part. And the gun... doesn't really have any purpose I think?

Overall a nice and fun game with much potential. I would love to see a more completed version of the game!

I've not seen a game like this before. It was pretty amazing, with an original and cool mechanic. I read your regrets and was a little surprised. I honestly though it was a puzzle platform game. Perhaps it is and you just wanted to add more to it. I think you should continue to work on it, add what you forgot, polish it up and put it on steam!

Besides the puzzle mechanic being really cool I loved the idea of the music slowing down when you pressed tab. That was ingenious! The character animations were very good but it took me a few minutes to get used to him not turning around unless the mouse was pointing in that direction. Really the only bug I encountered was while I was on the map screen I hit escape and got a menu. realizing I pressed a wrong button I clicked resume and everytime my player jumped he immediately died, infact I could press jump over and over and he would die over and over and then the spawn would happen that many times.

Other then that, this is one well done game! Congrats on finishing and submitting a game!

Cool concept, nice pace switching between play mode and map mode, and a well control of 2d platformer player though. But i will prefer the game is fully designed instead of generated, i felt the pieces of map weren't being used in most of the times.
Plus, i'm not sure it fix to the theme, well, doesn't prevent it as a good compo game, good job!

All 5 stars!~ Love the ideas a lot! It's a solid 48 hours game. Kinda too easy for now though (just like Gao Ming said). You probably could add some fragments with traps and enemies. 赞一个!

美术满分,音乐满分,操作手感满分。拼图的策略性没能体现出来,我拼的时候都没有想,随意拼着就过关了。感觉这个是个核心机制,应该对游戏产生更重要的影响。

Hey, pretty good game you made. The idea is very original and the gameplay was fun. Maybe a posibility to replace blocks you placed already would have been nice(but maybe then it would be to easy!?). The graphics were simple but nice looking. Good Work!

This seems interesting, but with no Linux port, I couldn't play and rate. :(

That was a really great game! Very nice idea to let the player get to be part in authoring the game world. The music transition in and out was also really nice. The fractured player and the fractured world. I like most things in the game really.

I was a bit confused the first time about the placement because I didn't understand the tiles that I had in the lower bottom wasn't part of the map. And also after I understood that, it would have been nice if there was a more marked difference between placed tiles and tiles you had and could place.

On the last level I tested to build a world that just went down and I wasn't allowed to go as far as I had built. So the rules for where and how the player is allowed to go needs some tweaking.

The controls could also do with some more love, but platformer controls area really hard.

If you decide to work more on it, I also think you need to consider how to add challenge. If it is just a puzzle, if it should have enemies, or if the enemy is just the world that keeps falling apart however much you try to stitch it back together (probably more fun idea).

Great work!
