Gunning Out of Space by NikTheNarwhal
Shoot the endless enemies, a miss causes an obstacle to spawn, it will hurt you but not enemies. The longer you play the faster you run out of space. This was my first game jam and it was tons of fun, this was also my first ever 2D game. Controls: A and D to move, space is to jump(You have a triple jump), click to shoot at cursor(Despite the gun not actually pointing there...)

I think there's a small bug in the mouse aiming, which you might want to look into. When I was playing the bullets all seemed to fire from the top of the gun instead of from the barrel.
Here's few suggestions for you.
- As you said, gun pointing system need to be fixed. It's quite confusing when projectile comes out of the side of the gun
- Second, you should use proper font. You are ALLOWED to use font in compo. It would overall make the game more readable
Anyways, congrats on finishing your game in time!
I really like the hand drawn graphics of your game, and the simple animations you made.
Everything happen a little too quick, maybe scaling the difficulty from a simpler point to hard would be a good idea. At least it was hard for me, I could not get to really high scores.
But this is great, a beautiful compo entry!
