Well, I did it. I feel inclined to say "I finally did it", but considering how many people are still working away, that just wouldn't feel right.
I'd like to think that I came up with an interesting concept. I'm not sure if it's been done before but I hope I pulled it off well enough, it seemed like it fit the theme pretty well.
Although I was at a bit of a disadvantage because I didn't think of it until about 18 hours in. Originally I was going to do a game where you were a mage who had exceptionally quick mana recharging capabilities, but if you regenerated too much mana, your head would explode and you would die. which means you gotta be discharging arcane forces left and right to keep that from happening.
Anyway if you're up for giving my game a try, don't be expecting a typical shooter, and just a heads up: plan your actions carefully. because if you don't, who knows? They might come back and bite you in the ass.

Here's What I used and how I made it:
- language(s): HTML5 + Javascript ES6
- IDE: Notepad ++
- Image/Texture editing: Paint.NET
- Debugging/Testing: Google Chrome
Also, it's got a sweet chip-tune track composed by Mark Sparling.
Instructions:
- move with arrow keys
- jump with 'z'
- shoot with 'x' or 'c'
- The goal is to kill all the clones in the room to progress to the next round, sounds simple enough, right? You'll see..
- If you get hit by a bullet, you lose health, displayed on the bar on the top of the screen. your health regenerates slowly, but be careful, just 4 consecutive hits and you're dead.
- Make sure you pay attention to your time limit in the top left of the screen, if it runs out, you die.
Enjoy!
And please leave honest feedback, I won't get offended I promise.
Also please post your high scores :D I wanna see if you can beat me at my own game.

I got 42 as a score for my high, the game got super hectic later on in a good way.
The only issues I had was falling through some gaps that I couldn't really jump back up through. Maybe I wasn't being precise enough but it felt kind of unforgiving.
Fun game despite that! I gave it a good few attempts and kept wanting to improve.
You've created a game with nice graphics and soundtrack that fits well into the theme. The camera moved very smoothly and the jumping was perfect.
### How to improve:
Maybe a post-ld version could include more of a difference in level? All the levels seemed to have exactly the same format just with different clones spread about. Also, I found one tactic that seemed to work a little too well was jumping and shooting because the clones didn't have enough time to shoot, maybe you could change the delay?
But overall, a nice game.
