really nice job!
also:

@torcado - haha we tried to be very fun with it and let our imaginations run wild @starvingindie is our designer and the one who
coded while we artists/animators were busy cranking away to keep up with the scenes that were being delivered. I'm glad you also liked the music. We thought of the entirety of the game as synth-waveesque and the color palette turned out that way too.
@oneiros thank you for much! We hope you'll play again to see what other ways there are to die :) stay tuned!!
I only noticed the audio player at the top after getting one ending. It would be reaaaaally cool if some of the actions triggered some audio effects.
@rob-white - yea we're looking at getting an autoscrolling feature or having the latest narrative card pop up at the top instead. Stay Tuned!!
@hegemege haha yea we're working on getting some polish into the game so the atompshere is even better. The music definitely goes with the story but not sure if it should auto play right when the game starts. We'll figure it out though. Dont forget to come back and try for a unique play through. There are 4 total :)
CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU'VE ACHIEVED ONE OF FOUR ENDINGS!
WOOT! - That art was super rad, awesome work! Dialog was hilarious too.
@outline - super appreciated! We're glad that you love the graphics and happy you had a good time!
@outline - super appreciated! We're glad that you love the graphics and happy you had a good time!
@gus-the-shark Ahh!! Yes, the song was a fantastic choice from @hi-irie that fits perfectly with the mood of Al. Thanks for playing our game!
@minakon - we had a blast putting the graphics and story line together. At the last minute we decided to change the color palette and help unify the overall feel.
@baconsenpaii - bacon senpai is a great name. Thanks for playing and we're glad you had a good time.
@foomar - glad to hear it foomar! yea we're in the middle of getting some fixes our there for the game and making sure that we're adding our credits too:)
Also, spoilers...
I was stuck and could not use the soap I picked up ! Every other choices were leading me to death.
Anyway, I restarted and chose an other way.
@jokku - All the humor here was by @starvingindie helping to drive the narrative along with the visuals for the story. Thanks for your support!
@juanj7 - high appreciated!!! we're so glad that you love it and gives us validation to do more. The music was by technoAXE called Spire of Light and is royalty free :)
@jokku haha we had a ton of fun making it. play testing it was always cool since the humor constantly got to us too
@zessirb I'm glad you were able to find a way out in the end!!
@baconsenpaii awesome username btw~ thanks for playing our game!!
@foomar thanks for the feedback!!
Really loved the art direction, it helped me to feel mental uniqueness of the protagonist.
Wonderful!
@mowztouch - thanks for the support!!
@alex-lutay - haha that's awesome! "Ha! I’ve opened the door with a key, who would’ve thought that such mundane thing could feel so heroic." this comment made my day we're glad that you enjoyed the game.
@jaydek - we basically pitched random ideas and it all fell into place. We really wanted to focus on what people wanted to do and what was fun for us. We're glad that you enjoyed it!
@maskinmask - Thanks mask, we're happy that you enjoyed the game. Dont forget to play again for another unique playthrough!
@teo-miklethun - Thank you very much!!!
I noticed a couple of spelling mistakes/typos here and there, but having made a text-based game for Ludum Dare before, I know that kind of stuff is inevitable... and with so many sentences to check over, I'm really just impressed that you managed to cram so much stuff in! It's amazing that there were so many animations and pictures throughout the entire story, too: they're all so fantastically done, and I've no idea how you managed so many. I really think it's the best-looking game I've seen on here so far, which is strange considering that it's a text adventure!
Overall, you guys did a wonderful job. I hope you get all the praise you deserve for it.
we were able to get a good amount of animation in and brought some of the scope down a bit to focus on the story line and on our final day the team started to lose steam so we mostly focused on art polish and tying up some loosen ends. We definitely have spelling errors that need to be address and will be deploying hot fixes as they are ready. Thank you so much!!!
Excellent job!)
@bevel - Thank you!!! Definitely try for another play through if you can. Flooding the bathroom is not the only option hahah
Just a thing I noticed: I could see the different URLs for the choices when hovering them (bottom left URL preview on chrome), some of them where labelled "death-eleven" and such. It's only a detail, but you might want to make your URLs a little more cryptic if you want the experience to be 100% blind ;)
Great job!! I really enjoyed the experience.
@kiirohanabi - ah you're getting it too. Hmm wonder what it could be. I'll check in with @starvingindie Thank you very much for you support in all of this!!!
@anubhav-kashyap - thank you very much. WE busted our butts to make sure we were able to get something good in. 4 unique playthroughs were definitely alot. We'll probably work our scope down in half next time.
