Very visually impressive entry. Great particle effects, sprites, and lighting. Game play was smooth. IT took me a bit to figure out what it meant when death showed up on the screen. Well done!

Look and feel is great! However, you can totally just take damage at the start of the level and then plow though to the stairs without killing anything. I'd probably lock the stairs until you defeat all the monsters. Nicely done either way, though.

I loved the art, effects, and sound, but the gameplay was a little easy. Good job overall.

Great game, it was a joy to play and I liked the idea of fighting for your life or gunning it towards the stairs. I did find it a little easy with no real challenge and getting 18 levels deep losing because I got sloppy. An addition of different enemy types would have made it more fun and interesting in later levels. But all in all, a great game for a 48 hour game jam.

I've also found through another comment that is it possible to just use the I-frames to run towards the stairs making the game very easy to exploit; I ended up getting 71 levels deep before getting bored.

The graphics are visually pleasing, i really like the simple enemy designs. The audio was good aswell. And as many other have stated already i think you should increase the difficulty of the game. But it was a fun experience.

Graphics were great, loved the main character and the enemy designs. Gameplay wise, it was really easy but still fun.

I really enjoyed drafting my penalties for going too slow. I love the lights and particles. Everything was incredibly smooth, responsive, and fun. Great work!

Really nice game. The artwork is very cute looking. I especially love when you sacrafice your armor and your knight just becomes a naked square.

The effects and art made this game feel really good to play. I liked the particle effects that were activated when the bullets collided with the walls, it was a nice addition. I felt it was a tad easy as you could just ignore the enemies (until the later depths) and just run to the exit. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.
