The lack of music is a bit jarring along with the fact that there are so few sound effects...

Though the game is NICE! I love the concept and the actual shooting is pretty good. It's missing some good polish though in game feel.

Simple And Fun! Loved the art, oh baby, it was terrific! I believe you do this for living. This is another level of graphics :-) Definitely doesn't look like a game made in 48 Hours.

I got a date with captain! The shmup part was really fluid, and the talking tied into it nicely, with all the reloading and stuff.

Excellent entry, but my only comment would be to maybe make things progress faster.
Especially for the jam since most people tend to want to play as many games as possible.

These graphics are really good! However I couldn't figure out how to refill ammo, so I didn't get very far...

the game is easy to pick up, I would've liked some visual feedback on what keys i had to press though. Also I think that x and z aren't like convenient to attack with, just my opinion. nice job though

Fast and fluid movement, very responsive! And lovely artwork, really sets the mood. It's a tougher shoot-em-up than I can handle, and it didn't help that I kept missing the X key. More information in the game about the controls would have been helpful -- I had to come back and re-read your info here to figure out how to shoot.

Great game! The only piece of criticism I have is that you could make the romance bar fill a little faster, considering the gameplay doesn't change and there's only one enemy. Loved the graphics and I think the enemy movement is very well made. Well done

I like the artstyle. That and the gameplay remind me alot of Luftrausers. If you add a bit more juice, like screenshakes and particle effects and explosions, you will get that perfect feel! I would also suggest to highlight the ammo bar if the player runs out of ammo and to make that visually and sonically alarming as i did not notice there was an ammo bar at first.

Other than that nice gameplay, I really like the idea!
