@tattomoosa: Yeah, I've noticed it too. You can stand on the last square shouting over and over and last quite a while. I've considered a few ways to solve it. Maybe repeated screaming should tire you out and you'd have like a cooldown meter. Or have an enemy that more forcefully removes you, or perhaps just making the mob more aggresive when there is less of the lawn left.
Good stuff :8ball:
I think there is a problem when the space to guard the lawn from enemies gets really small (just 2-3 fields). You do not have to get away, just scream them of your lawn. So in theory you might not get to the Game Over Screen.
Well done (event if the end is a bit easier than the middle game by staying on a tile and just screaming).
Anyway I really apreciate this game!
One thing that put me off slightly, is that cycling actions one way only felt a bit awkward. Could've used positive/negative buttons or shooter style quick swap, but that's really all I can criticize.
Cheers!

Nope, you must keep going ruining my flower. Sheesh!
Really really fun game, though now I hate half of the bean-world. Great job :)!
You've come up with a hilarious take on the theme with great music and solid graphics. I really liked the visual design of the different beans (starting by the grumpy player character, loved it!)
I managed to survive for 62 waves, although the second half was mostly a fight against time to keep a couple of patches. Those damn towel guys were the worst!
A great entry, congrats!
PS: I had a similar idea for LD32, but with a fed up teacher in high school.
Guessing there is no way to win the final wave, just survive for as long as possible? Wondering how viable a strategy it is to just give up on most of the lawn and defend a small patch for as long as possible, which is what ended up happening for me.
Reminds me a bit of your game from last time! The characters you came up with and the sprites you made for them were hilarious and the music and sounds are really good too. Spent some time just listening before actually starting the game.
Nicely done!
I liked the polish and design of the game, the jazz music is also well made and fits the atmosphere of the game perfectly, well done!
