The visuals are really pleasing and fit the game atmosphere. :D

Neat game. I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upb0aA4TPRk

Not very innovative or fun, but a very interesting interpretation of the theme. The first game I try that makes _the player_ run out of power. I only played the 800m, but it took me nearly 2 minutes, so I guess the Marathon takes around 1h30 mashing two buttons alternatively (probably more, you run slower in Marathon...). Wow.

A little on the short side, I would have liked a circumnavigate the globe option, but other than that, a nice interpretation of the theme...

I love that the theme here was taken to mean your actual real life energy levels. Glad I picked the shortest race!

I was disappointed that finishing the Marathon didn't unlock a special "Proclaimers" mode where I had to walk 500 miles then walk 500 more.

Damn, my hands are broken from running so much. It took me nearly 3 hours to complete the marathon and I think I need a new keyboard. Also, I'm sure that I don't remember Liz McColgan's nose being that big.

Ok, I lied. I only ran the 800 metres, but even then, my hands aren't what they used to be. This is like playing Track 'n' Field all over again. It's a fun game - I wonder if it would translate to multiplayer.

This game reminded me of why I play video games instead of go outside, except yours made me question everything. Also, where can I send my medical bills for the carpal tunnel? 10/10.

The game should be called Carpal Tunnel Simulator :D

To echo some other comments, I like how the player is the one to lose the power. This game also does a good job at emulating the pace of a marathon. As long as your steady (and use both hands to avoid carpel tunnel) you'll be fine.

But to be honest, I have no desire to do any other track after the 800m.

I'm proud to say that I beat both the 800m and the 1500m with the times 1:54 and 3:51... Visuals and presentation is great, but gameplay is lacking? I mean I don't know what to say about this one.. It would have been funny if I could see a graph of my mashing speed over time at the end. About the theme, well yeah, I'm out of energy.

Well done!

I enjoyed it, especially the aesthetic and the sound. The odd bob of the hair and nose was a nice touch!

It took me almost 2 minutes to complete 800m. That means it takes 1h45m to complete the marathon, assuming I run at the same speed. If anyone completes all the game modes I'll personally come to their house and give them a cookie.

Alright, aside from the fact that you're a crazy sadist, the game is beautiful. Love the music, love the graphics. Also, the fact that the actual person playing the game is the one who runs out of power is a great interpretation of the theme. Good job!

It was fun to play!!! I literally run out of power here after playing the 800mt and then 1.500 (with a little help of my boyfriend XD)
Nice interpretation of the theme, very good graphics and animation!!
I hope to see if anyone manage to finish the marathon xD

Nice job!
